I have no other mods installed but if i click deploy both methods break, but if i purge mods then it works again. This reads like some crapy riddle Is this indicative of anything? My guess is something from the wrong version of Fallout4.exe or F4SE is being placed into your data folder. Purging mods only removes the files from the data folder. You need to uninstall all mods so that each mod in your mods tab says "uninstalled". just don't tick the remove archive box after clicking remove or you will have to redownload the file. I Did a full reinstall and wipe of my vortex so it looks pretty barren right now, is their anywhere you know that might be holding these "Rouge Files Of Mass Destruction"? I did have the old version of f4se installed at one point(That being 0.6.23) that could somehow be the culprit. Also wanted to say thanks to both of you for sticking it out and lending me a hand really appreciate it Bellow is my mods tab in vortex
showler
If you have a good internet connection it might be worth it at this point to wipe your Fallout install directory entirely and re-download the game. The only thing I can think of is that you have old non-compatible files in there somewhere.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled a few times now but only via steam, Are you knowledgeable of any more thorough methods?
showler
The important part is that after you uninstall the game through Steam, you need to go to the game folder in Windows Explorer and delete anything that remains. Steam will only remove the files it installed. Anything that might be interfering will remain.
