LATEST UPDATE KILLED LOOT FOR SSE/AE

Loot doesn't seem to work properly after last update,my active mods were 103 and lite was close to 400

but now it reads active 438 and lite 6.

It's no trouble for me to go mark a bunch of feathers but please a little warning next time.

I really believe Loot is Fubar and won't recognize any light mods I DL now. 

EDIT:Well things just took a turn for the worse now Loot won't allow me to make any of the mods light

with the feather mark the moment I try seconds later they revert back to Active.

At the very least, you need to name the game you are having difficulties with, either by tagging your post, or in the post title.  With that said, if you are using a standalone LOOT installation in combination with Vortex, you will have problems.  LOOT in Vortex is quite well integrated, and generally runs itself automatically when mods are deployed.  A standalone LOOT will not see the conflict/mod order rules that are in Vortex.  I know because I did this once upon a time, before the 'light' plugins became a thing.  LO would never match between Vortex and a subsequent LOOT run.

I can second this issue & hopefully be a bit clearer than OP for my situation.  Fallout4 running Storywealth collection +extras. I got notification to update from the 11.7 stable to the latest beta (1.12.0?)  As soon as Vortex finished the update I went from having 185 ESP to most, if not all of my my files marked as ESPs & it couldn't deploy cause I was over the limit.  Tried to Ctrl-A & mark all plugins as light & it would very briefly change to 188 ESP & the rest light, then revert back to everything ESP & warn me it couldn't deploy.  Just vortex with it's integrated LOOT

Opted out of the Beta program & downgraded back to 11.7 stable & everything was kosher again.

We've just pushed a new beta (1.12.0-beta.2) to fix this which Vortex should auto-download next time it loads. 

Some context for this fix - we enhanced our plugin parser to detect medium plugins which are currently only available for Starfield - unfortunately the plugin format is quite different between SF and the older games (which use a completely different location for the light flag). We thought we could just use the header version to decide where the light flag is located, but that didn't work as planned as some plugins appear to have the same header version as Starfield. The good news is - your plugins are still light even if Vortex was complaining about them being regular - it was mostly a UI issue but unfortunately it triggered a set of tests we have in place which may have hindered some mod setups.

Yes sorry for the delayed response I did mean Vortex's Beta update.

To 7531Leonidas I will remember to put down what game I had the experience on next time

it was SSE/AE this time around. XD

I didn't even try to be honest,but I guess I'll have to bite the bullet.

But it won't be that bad as the first time since they are aware of the problem.

EDIT: Ok what a relieve it is back to normal. 🙂
