I don't do discord, and I don't care for beths mod hosting, as there is NO indication there of whether a mod does what it is supposed to do, or if there are any problems with it..... I think the devs at beth could screw up a wet dream..... 1

So that class .text-neutral-subdued is a variable in our design system, if you change the color value for that it will change all text we set to what we call our subdued foreground colour, subdued refers to the level of contrast with our background (surface) colours. If you see .text-neutral-strong this would be the text that has a higher contrast to our surface colours. This might be useful information for anyone wanting to make their own CSS mixes.
euph Posted March 26 Posted March 26 The removal of the blur effect has improved my experience with the site quite a bit (I have severe issues with blur, it's one of the main reasons I get headaches/migraines. I disable it everywhere, even if I have to resort to Reshade. What's the fad with mimicking people like me, who are short sighted? Who likes to look at BLUR?! And the LAG was horrible). However, I still have other issues. The "New" button is like a light bulb that goes straight into the back of my retinas and leaves a blob there, as if I looked at the sun (I'm photosensitive, so...) The color scheme is atrocious for me for the reason I mentioned above. After a while, I have a bunch of "ghost letters" floating in my eyes. I need at least an option to change the color scheme to something that isn't "black and white". Also, get rid of that massive "collections" bar, or give us an option to hide it. I've been modding games since the times of the original NWN, I don't need collections, nor do I care about them. Finally, get rid of the waste of space. The tiles are too big and have too little information. The previous tiles were much better. 1

There are much better eye-catching styles than doing that. I was often told 'use red somewhere' as red is the first colour the human eye registers - goes back to our tree-dwelling, red berry-eating days! I like the cartoony pics though. Yeah it's a shame, I love when I see a rare shop window that you can tell someone has hand painted. Ha good point on the "EW" thing, you're the first to raise that. Red is an interesting one, in the west we generally avoid it on the web as it usually denotes "danger" (although there are exceptions), but in India it symbolises "purity" with it being the traditional colour of wedding dresses, and in China it's strongly associated with "Luck".
HadToRegister Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Discord just updated, and now you can change color themes with a click. After the update, it picked a darker theme, and I was wondering WHY discord looked harsher then it did before the update. The problem was, is that it automatically defaulted to a DARKER Theme, with white text, and quickly became a problem. I went into the Appearance Setting, and THANKFULLY I just REVERTED the Theme color to the lighter gray, that it was set at BEFORE the update. It was nice being able to pick which version of the UI works for me, and gives my eyes relief. 5

xRay4004 Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Is the removal of the color coded browser tabs now intended? Quite unfortunate if so, was nice being able to see what game you had the tab opened for. Also if intended at least do it right and remove the color coding too when you have a modpage opened for a game because that still shows the game color.

FWIW my team will tell you I have a real hatred for 'widows' and 'orphans' — something that is insanely hard to control across all screen sizes Glad you like the purple BTW.
