JobiWanUK
Just read the announcement. Basically it boils down to 'we know you don't like it, but here's why we did it and we might make some minor changes, one day, soon'. Not impressed. You're not really listening to feedback at all. My main two complaints, list view, and tracked content updates - you're basically telling me I'm in a minority of people that use them so I don't really matter. 8

It explains why we made these changes, address some of your key concerns, and outline what we are changing and what we will not be changing, based on the beta testing period, the full site launch, ongoing survey results and your specific feedback. Read more. Expand “Quick search now shows previously unavailable data, like your recent searches and your favourite games, which is useful if you want to swap between games on the fly. We know this comes with a tradeoff. The old quick search menu didn’t have enough space to populate it with more data, making it difficult to improve on what we had without a radical change” Good lord, you didn't listen to ANYBODY about the quick search. I just posted a lengthy example using the GOG quick search as an example of how the OLD and MORE EFFICIENT Nexus Quick Search Worked. IN DETAIL, but nope, you're going to stick with that INEFFICIENT OBFUSCATING POP UP WINDOW that block the entire WEBSITE. The Old Quick Search had a drop-down, a SCROLLABLE DROP-DOWN, also, if you ended up with too many Results, you could just hit ENTER, and be brought to a screen with a LIST of MODS, with how ever many pages it needed. But the entire point of Quick Search, is to narrow down your search to a few, or ONE Result. You people don't get it at all. That Pop up search window is the antithesis of everything “Convenient” as it prevent everybody from SEEING or USING the webpage it completely BLOCKS. This is why I didn't bother participating in the BETA, from experience, because the Nexus does this every single time, and gives us the illusion that our Feedback is being considered, and then you go ahead and make the changes everybody complains about anyway, always citing these Invisible “THOUSANDS OF USERS” who Liked The Changes, those Thousand, that NEVER POST. But for some reason, are ALWAYS the ones who are listened to, even though they never say a word ANYWHERE on the Nexus. 6

Expand Just like every other time in the past when the nexus makes a change to the site or implements a new feature, they pretend our feedback matters, then they ignore it, claim “Thousand of people liked it”, and implement it anyway. I haven't seen ONE TIME in the history of the Nexus where they reverted the change. It's amazing how so many people who never post, never say anything, never seem to even be on the website, are the only ones who show up for the BETAS, vote in invisible polls, and their non-existent voice, is ALWAYS heard over MANY others. And the people who DO give feedback, are told they're whiners, complainers etc. Sorry, we were just hoping that a website WE PAY FOR, would actually LISTEN TO ITS CUSTOMERS. I'd still like to know who and what this “Shadow Society” of THOUSANDS of users who are completely silent, are always the ones that are catered to. 8

The announcement is full of empty promise explains nothing while ignoring most of the feedback and basically told the people who don't like the new change to suck it up. commanderstrawberry
I don't like the new search, it has made more cumbersome to search for mods, which has actively made me download less of them. It's somewhat disheartening this collections feature is still the first thing you see on every scroll down, over the mods. Meanwhile Mods of The Month, something the community votes on that supports quality mods, is still segregated on its own page. Most users don't even know it's there, or what voting for something to be MoTM does. 4
Rodocastiza
For me: -I know many people prefer dark mode, but I'd love some alternative lighter colors. Lighter greys. -I don't use the main page mod a lot, I have bookmarked new published mods from each game and that's what I use. I've used some styles published here to reduce the space, collections and other things. -I'd love to have the mod pagination at the top of the rows like before. -Not a fan of the new search, the popup is quite intrusive. Searchs better? I can't tell but the previous version was more efficient. Now you only gain the advantage of not having to change the type of search you want to do (mod/game/author). -I miss the colour schemes from each games. -The previous "downloaded" and "update available" marks were easier to spot, more than the new white tick. Sometimes I don't see it. 1

Are these “Ongoing Survey Results” just for the “Shadow People” who are the only ones who are able to SEE the Survey and “Participate” in it, who apparently make all the decisions over actual real, living, breathing users? 9
Dimon721
What could be more stupid than targeting mobile users? After all, we download mods to the phone and then transfer them to PC, yeah
