Malchik
A series of small bombs has knocked out London Underground. I have to leave for an appointment I may have to walk to (7 miles away!) It is unlikely that I will be back in today. I can't say more about the rest of the week! Ugh!
Dark0ne
Sigh...not much you can do about bombs on a bus, but no doubt they'll be putting up metal detectors or bag inspections of some sort on the underground. Really need more information; who was it, why did they do it.
Stampede
It's terrible, I cannot really add anything new. My sympathies to everyone in London who relies on public transport and to anyone affected by what happened. Perhaps it was one those protesting against the G8 summit? EDIT: Or at least some reflection on the fact that it kicked off. The protests have been anything but peaceful. Regardless, you can be certain it is some piece (pieces) of trash also responsible for stealing our oxygen.
Switch
Yeah, it sucks alright. :/ My sympathies to anyone affected. Seems the death toll is currently thought to be about 45. Ouch. :( Nah I don't think those G8 "protestors" (read: thugs-nothing-to-do-with-protesting) would go this far, let alone succeed. It's thought to be terrorists, probably Al Qaeda, there's even been a message claiming credit supposedly by them found in Europe (although it might be fake). Slaiv
Needless to say this will only push the war on terror further.
Abramul
Odd, nothing in the paper about this...
Icefiddell
A Islamic terrorist group with connections to Al'Queda has claimed responsibility. I hope now that this will force the government to implement much stricter immigration and Assylum laws.
Dark0ne
No doubt the government will be pushing for these new ID cards even more now.
Stampede
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,22...1684290,00.html Scum, I truly hope this encourages the powers that be to pull their fingers out of their chutney pipes. Just goes to show, you really have to make the most of the time that you have. Just imagine, those folk that died went to sleep last night, with plans for the weekend, plans for today. I'm not ignorant, people die every day, in terrible ways. I live in South Africa, this is an extremely bloodthirsty country at times, but it just goes to show you how unexpected your last breath can be. Dilvish
Another message of blind hatred from Islamic terrorists. At some level, they know they are already defeated. They kill the innocent in irrational attempts to frighten and punish their enemies. Rational people would realize that bombing London won't in any way further their aims.
