AurianaValoria1
I have no idea how this is happening, but for some reason, my comments are overwriting each other...in totally separate parts of the site! For example, I just recently posted a comment on my mod thread answering someone with "Glad you like it." It not only appeared twice in the mod thread, where I had to delete the duplicate, but it also overwrote the last post I made in the RP thread I run! See the screencap I attached. Here's the RP thread: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/655301-tales-of-faerun/page-445&do=findComment&comment=11833670 Here's the mod page: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50914/? How is this happening? I've never seen anything like this.
AurianaValoria1
And now that I try to edit my RP post back in, guess where it shows up? In the mod thread, where my response was. I'm hiding the file until this gets fixed. This is so frustrating. :wallbash:
Dark0ne
Does this happen even if you make a new comment in the file thread?
AurianaValoria1
It seems to have happened specifically when I used the "reply" button. I've left other comments elsewhere without using the reply feature, and they have not erased previous posts.
AurianaValoria1
I thought I'd like to add that it might have also occurred after I attempted to delete the duplicate comment on my mod page. I have no idea if this info will help, but I hope it does. :)
MotoSxorpio
Entire Skyrim site is under some broken-ness. Tabs, buttons etc do not work. Hotlinks in descriptions work, but no web buttons. Several in chat hurrumphing over the issue.
MotoSxorpio
And...its fixed, apparently twelve seconds after I hit enter for last post.
Dark0ne
And this wouldn't have been the right place to post that anyway, Moto...
LeanWolf
I'm also experiencing the OP's problem, I'll try to be as specific as possible so you can find the problem: Twice now in the last day or so, when I've replied to a post on a NexusMods page (not forum-side), the reply appeared under the post I was replying to, which was moved to the top, but the reply was not nested (not inside the OP's post box), but separate like it was not a reply even though the posts were moved to the top.The strangest part is that what I wrote in the reply was also duplicated in my previous post, replacing whatever it was that I'd written there. The first time I noticed this immediately because my previous post (the one that was replaced) was right below on the same page (my own mod page). I edited that post back to what it originally said, deleted the strange un-nested reply and replied again (worked properly that time). I chalked it up to a weird one-time glitch. Today I've just noticed that a reply that I made last night to the latest news article (didn't nest again) has replaced a post that I'd made on my other mod page (it probably replaces the previous post you've made). Exact same bug. Editing the original reply has no further effect on the duplicate replacement post.I've also noticed a post that was obviously meant as a reply on another mod page on one of my mods, I'd thought it was just poster error but now I suspect that it was another duplicate/replacement post from someone else. A strange bug, mildly annoying but probably rare and undoubtedly difficult to track..
AurianaValoria1
I saw this occur on a recent news article as well. So it does seem to be an issue originating from the use of the reply feature to an individual post on the Nexus sites, not the forum side - though the forum can be affected by the duplicate replacement.
