It seems like you guys have travelled quite a bit! I've only ever been out of Australia once (I went to Italy for a school trip) but yeah, it sounds like you've both been all over the place. I must admit that I'm kinda jealous... :P

Not that Australia isn't good or anything - it's got lots of awesome stuff - but yeah, I think it would be nice to go somewhere really different. Italy didn't feel very different, which is why I don't have many memories of it despite it being only 2 years ago when I went.

Also, close-up of my kingmaker sword that I made a few days ago...

Oh I guess I missed the lighthouse, would've been cool to see. We didn't get near it or I wasn't paying attention, either way I missed it.
I haven't been far gone far enough west to see the Pacific.

The US is really easy to get around.

I would love to go to Italy (and Australia). I don't know that I'm very fond of flights though, since the first one I had I got sick on. I can't imagine going from Australia to Italy... I would've died probably.
I've only been out of the US once, and it was on a school trip as well (kind of). The weather in Ireland and the UK was really nice.

@k00l I found out that Tybee Island has two Lighthouse's. The second must have been in repairs. They are both historical markers and have tourist hours.

I might just hop a plane and go see them for one other adventure, you know, before I am too old and I can't.

@billyro I was traveling looking for work because I did not want to become a pest at the home front. The work I got was takig a couple for a visit!

I kept enjoying the journey's though each time I piled up enough money to travel.

That trip along the coast got paid for by a couple who wanted to visit family. I got to see Knot's Berry Farm, Safari Jungle, and the San Francisco Gardens while I was there. I did that after awhile. The morning after we arrived the guys brother gave me a tour of San Francisco's Tenderloin. Sadly he mistook me for an idiot, drunken bum, and I did not take the bait when he tried to get me to have a drink with him. When he wasn't watching me I slipped out of his grip and drove down the crookedest road too, leaving him to fend for himself down on that famous losers lane. Kind of like lovers lane, only for wino's.

The guy and his wife who paid for the trip got pregnant while they were there. I managed to get back to the apartment house when they were ready to leave. The brother of the guy had not returned. I guess he forgot his Trolley fair or something.

When their son was born they offered to make me a god father, but I was too busying to hang out. I had to find some lunch money and part of my diet wasn't anything to do with bums row, skid row, or sally's alley. I worked for money  , not booze.

Alabama and Mississippi? No work I would have done has ever surfaced on the employment pages in the newspapers or Bulletin Boards anywhere, even in The Union Workers buildings for them.

Now?! If it has something to do with a historical marker I might go there. I am seeking the undark mystic of life which was of historical note. Not hysterical note!

I am not interested in hauntings, UFO's, sick mutations, morphs, or freak shows. Television and the movies are so bloated with documentaries, and such, on the subject of sciences laboratory failures and seeking a ride along with a Hitchhikers Guide through the Galaxy. Why bother going to places bloated with sideshow vendors that have a zombies finger all along the boardwalk? Used to be a small piece of Christs wooden cross was a real item. Then of course the seekers all wanted a bit of Jesse James to add to their showcase of wonders of the world.

There is no fun in that anymore.

I want to find a long forgotten bomb shelter built during the cold wars and see if any of the food survived. I feel confident none of the people did, because the people who built one in the home town moved away and did not bother to tell anyone they got fed up with all the Bulletins and Warnings after 3 years. Someone who moved in found the family size BS and dug it up and had it hauled away.

 curtain stage right I WIN! curtain stage left

Snap out of it! K00L. You'll only start to think all your life was wasted on reading posts by trolls, all seeking center stage, who had no idea what the play that was being practiced was about. 6 Characters in Search of an Author! Twilight Zone! Ooo! ooo.

 curtain stage right I WIN! curtain stage left

Heh, yeah the flight to Italy was a terror. I can't remember how long it took, but it was about... 20 hours? I can't remember. I only remember that it was torture. :P

I didn't sleep at all, either, and that day I ended up staying awake for about 40 hours. :ermm:

This is everywhere I've been in Australia (that I can remember)...

Yellow is places I've visited, green is where I've lived. I'm currently at the bottom-left green spot.
