tetradite
http://d24w6bsrhbeh9d.cloudfront.net/photo/5099257_700b.jpg Let's start the day with something nice  Good morning, just got back from the beach. There were people from the UK there! I almost wanted to scream 'Please don't stop talking!' because I love listening to a British accent  Oh you Brits, you and your epic accents make us all jelly. You've evidently never heard someone from Liverpool. They sound like this: Eeerrrrrrrrrrrrm!!!!!!!!!!!
naomis8329
I'm from Liverpool and I certainly don't sound like that :D Mind you I did have elocution lessons for 6 years so that may be the reason why

Coventry has a bizarre non-accent... we ought to sound like the Brummies (nearly as offensive to the ear as Scouse) up the road, but we don't. Non-Brits universally think we're Australians, other Brits have to ask. Mind you regional accents are slowly going extinct, kids in every part of the country are starting to sound the same: I dun no nuffin bout it, nah'at a mean? Iv000
I like any kind of English accent actually, just prefer the typical Brit one. My friend has a southern 'redneck' accent, sometimes more southern, sometimes less. Depends on his mood. I love listening to him though  I love fluid English accents, not my British/Russian/Japanese/Italian one
naomis8329
I had an atypical scouse accent which drove my parents to distraction so I got rid of it, well was made to get rid of it lol. I can still slip into most accents quite easily as a result. I'm a little bit of a chameleon in that respect where accents and dialects come into things. I can copy most... :D :D :D
