I really don't like how on the new Skyrim Nexus, people can (apparently) see pretty much everything you are doing right on your profile. Most of my activities are shame-based and this new transparency completely ruins that.

 

Next they'll be showing my video store rentals and people will say, "Why did he need to rent Fisting Firemen 9: the Quest for Curly's Gold on VHS, sixteen times? Why didn't he just buy it instead?tsk tSk TSK." I can't take that kind of fiscal scrutiny.

 

BTW I win for now, but if you remember what a 'video store' or VHS is, you actually win.

 

In that case, I win. I remember when video rental places were very common. Now the easiest one to find is Queen Video. 2 locations in toronto alone. As for VHS, There are a bunch of them ant my mother's place, and a player.

Skyrim does have some sound problems.

I had to do lots of tweaking to fix the game's volume which was way too low even though the levels were at max.

I tried something that had the same effect on my game as you describe it. Try this: go into the Control Panel > Sound Options > Select your main sound device (It's just "speakers" here) > Select Configure and go with Stereo, then continue clicking next until you're done.

I totally forgot if that's the thing or not, but that's the only thing I remember.

I wish I could do that -_- Lol buuuut my sound card is dumb :P I started a topic about it a few days back looking for help but no one replied. :confused:

I like the fact my reciever turns itself off when there is no signal pushing through it, and whent here is a signal it turns itself on funny enough, something like a hand shake.

 

same with my ps3 and so on and tv to. Convenient :teehee: power saving rules.

Oh, Fisting Firemen 9: the Quest for Curly's Gold - it's there in my vhs collection, next to Citize Kane and Bambi. So I win.

No its different then that, it does it on its own, no power button needed, like when i turn the the ps3, the reciever turns on, so does the tv.

 

hmm i wonder what my 1080p rca upscaler would look like upscaling vhs :teehee:

 

Also i upscaled the n64 to full screen, dude its trippy, never before seen in widescreen format, not stretched or anything but wild.

Same here. What I do is my buisness only and it seems that now that the other 4 000 000 Nexus users can see what I do too. Oh my, they might even find my porn collection :psyduck:

Especially since there are apparently nefarious entities on the nexus that go around down-reping good, hard-working citizens for no reason.

They just want to watch the world burn.
