I should post here more often, I want to get up to 500 posts so I can change my membership title.

Sorry, doesn't work like that. You should do a better job of reading the topic descriptions. Anyway, I win.

Whelp, i'd meant to get an all new sound setup, and I did today. Only cost me $98 from EB, five speaker/subwoofer Logitech speaker setup, considering I've payed more for games, and how amazing the bass is, I'm totally impressed. Sure, the instructions were actually incorrect, and full of typos, but hell, the device itself is great. Feels really solidly put together; the woofer weighs a ton. It's also got enough base to make my whole desk resonate like a gong. I backed them up with a set of Turtle Beach headphones; I've never used TB before but I was absolutely blown away by the shear audio quality; there's so much base that the whole 'phones vibrate. Both sets make a particular difference with car and gun games; the harsh, grainey quality for engine sound effects is absolutely spot-on. I've watched a lot of car racing from the side of the track in real life; engines do NOT sound smooth at 15,000 RPM. They sound rough, coarse, and grainey and that's what this new setup captures. Not bad for 240 USD. Edited by Vindekarr

My receiver and 7 speakers cost me around i say all in all..nearly 200$ per speaker. The originals came in a pack of 5, but i upscaled to 7...
