Werne
I'm not getting into a debate about actual attempts on your life, I don't do sympathy for that kind of behaviour.Completely understandable. I don't want to debate it either, not much point to it anyway, I only mentioned it as an example. And now to talk about merrier things. Like slavery marriage for example. Anyone here married? What can I expect after I get married? As far as I understand, you have two days of partying, a whole month of sex (like I don't do it enough now http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/tongue.gif), and then wife has headaches every night, starts controlling every aspect of your life and constantly yaps while you're forced to suffer and you regret marrying her for the rest of your life http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/ohdear.png Did I get it right? Ironman5000
You forgot inevitable divorce because they hate each other guts  At that has been a popular observation of mine Been with my gf for almost 12 years now and we only ever argue about once a year which is settled in the hour, no pressure of marriage and no rush  Seems like the official union 'marriage' is a rename of 'curse' :whistling:
Iv000
I know the type. I had a friend like him in middle school. He's a parasite, he can't really help it, that's just the way he is. You could try to talk to him about how your feelings are just important as his and he needs to adjust his approach to people, otherwise he'll really be alone. Then again you might have one of those psychosis-perfect-storm-bat-s*** crazies that will just crank it up a notch and turn to stalking. My former boss's daughter is like that, her ex-boyfriend has a restraining order that she regularly violates and she tried to kill her father after he wouldn't let her kill herself. Fun times. But most people making suicide threats usually don't 100% mean they want to kill themselves it's just a "grown up" way of throwing a little temper tantrum for them. The major problem though with these high-strung clingy types is that they tend to overreact to calling their bluff - which could end in death... So take him seriously but don't be overly attentive to his every little drama, that's what he wants and you can't reward the behavior. If you could deal with his death then just let nature take it's course, but if you would find it too difficult to deal with, I'd say involve somebody who could deal with him in a legal/psychological manner to prevent his self-destruction. I do not envy your next few months. I got lucky with my friend in middle school, her family moved to Alaska just when she was ramping up to suicide threats, so I was bereft of the burden of knowing what became of her crazy ass. (She's probably where my problem with intimacy and commitment come from. ) But at least I was given 4483 miles of buffer to cool1 her off and lucky for me she didn't have my phone number. 1Alaska is cold, this is a joke.My past relationship left me with intimacy and commitment problems. (It made me stronger though as well, which I am thankful for.) I'm paranoid now, but I'm thankful for heaving an extremely understanding and helpful boyfriend. Seriously I'm a mess sometimes when I get paranoid and panic, I'm getting better though. Anyway, I am trying to fix this problem with my friend. I know he can't help himself, I really know :( But he's sucking out my nerves and my mentality, my altruism tells me to help and wait, my mortality tells me to just forget him and block him out of my life. This is hard as s*** @WerneI'm sorry but I dont want to risk someone's blood being on my hands :( I couldn't take it.
Werne
You forgot inevitable divorce because they hate each other gutsI hope divorce in RL doesn't work like divorce in Skyrim. Where the hell am I supposed to find a steel battleaxe? http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/blink.gif Been with my gf for almost 12 years now and we only ever argue about once a year which is settled in the hour, no pressure of marriage and no rushWell, that's a long time. I've been with my girl for 4 years, had only one fight after I set her rose bush on fire (damn chinese firework rockets http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/dry.gif). Everything else is going bloody great. I did propose her though, I got the ring from a guy who owed me and the idea kinda popped into my mind. The sex was great so I guess it was a good idea http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gif Seems like the official union 'marriage' is a rename of 'curse'Why does everyone keep saying that?!?! http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/ohdear.png I'm sorry but I dont want to risk someone's blood being on my hands I couldn't take it.Ah well, then you'll have to think of something else. I can get rid of him for you, I need to test my new rifle anyway http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/devil.gif That was a joke http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/mellow.gif

I don't care for marriage myself it's just a formality and should only really be done if you are religious and i'm an atheist so it means nothing, just being committed is enough. M48A5
Werne, Something to remember. In the first year of your marriage, every time you have sex, put a penney (or the smallest denomination of coin you have) into a jar. Starting with the second year of marriage, every time you have sex, take a coin out of the jar. You will never empty the jar!
