Got to see the production version of the new Chevy Corvette today. The Corvette is an American classic;their first proper sports casr after tha war and always one of my favourite cars, but this new one doesn't look even American. Or like a production car. If anything, it looks like Chevy handed the pencil to the guys who designed many of my dream cars as a child, Hot Wheels. I mean, it looks like a Ferrari from most angles, and something out of Blade Runner from behind. I think it's hugely sexy and I am very pleased to see Chevy stepping out of the box, but I'm not sure how such a wild looking machine will be recieved.

Now that is a very sexy car. Wonder if it comes in red with a black interior :D

I can confirm it does. In either cloth or leather, although, knowing American cars, it'll be a joy to drive and very powerful, the interior will be made out of old carpet and this gas mileage will bite you in the backside. I love that brands are getting adventurous again. For a while cars got waaay to clinical and dull, it's about time brands started thinking "hey, enough Golf clones, lets make a car with a MILLION horsepower and stripes" Perhaps the best part is we're learning to make fast cars environmentally friendly. Merc has a car with a V-8 that does only 8.8 MPG. Even Formula One are hybrid powered and trying to cut fuel use/emissions. Edited by Vindekarr
