http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/whistling.gif OHH Borderlands 2 does halo better. more shield types and guns, lots and lots of guns. So many guns its hard to choose which one is the best. Even some golds are no mach for dlc in game content, like the firehawk and the nerf be shield http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gifhttp://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif HINT HINT http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gif http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif

I disagree. Halo has better characters, writing, and acting. It also has much better multiplayer. However, comparing the 2 games is nearly impossibly since one is a traditional '90s style Shooter, the other is a modern open-world RPG.

Modern is better, open world is even better, with unlimited possibilities even better. huge dlc and more guns and shields, even more so. How can you compare them because you can't, that's why borderlands 2 wins http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif also psn is down. Probably do to the sellout of the US based headquarters

Again, I would remind you they're completely different games. YOU like Borderlands more, I like Halo more. Let's agree on one thing; they're both so good, they're pretty much imcomparable. At this level of design, you can only really nitpick.

http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/biggrin.gif I guess its up to you then to decide, me its all about replay ability, how often can you play halo until it gets old. sense there is only one linear path you take, other then except online play. Edited by Thor.

anyone played Alan Wake

Yes it was an awesome game, had it for xbox360 so didn't have to worry about performance  I thought for a horror game it picked up the ball that silent hill clearly dropped. There's not many games that can make you feel genuinely unsafe but this pulls it off great!

I will have to get hold of that game again.

For me it's initial impact; I like the campaign of a shooter to be like a good novel; Halo is just that, though for replay value Borderlands is a far superior game.
