That is, the velocity process of the Brownian motion can-not be defined as a real-valued function, although it can be defined as a distribution.... If I understood that right, and I'm sure I didn't, that's just Einstein speak for "Something that doesn't have a true definition and is made up" And indeed you are right if that's the case.
