Werne
I'm really bored and listening to music. And since I'm bored, let me show you how I listen to music: Winamp Classic is a must-have, haven't had a single PC without it.

Thor.
Winamp is a friend that never lets you down, and is the only 5.1 media player that even with mp3's turn out a 5.1 signal.Plugins i recommend mad input 24bit pluginhttp://www.winamp.com/plugin/mad-libmad-0-15-1b/221520 stereo tool highly recommended http://www.winamp.com/plugin/stereo-tool-6-30/221526 Edited June 1, 2013 by Thor. Iv000
Am I the only one who thinks that Windows Media Player (with additional codec packs installed) in Windows 7 is totally fine for both audio and video? Also funny how you can't install a Windows Phone 8 emulator without Windows 8.There isn't such a difference between 7 and 8, that's kinda bullshit but okay M$, okay. Iv000
Am I the only one who thinks that Windows Media Player (with additional codec packs installed) in Windows 7 is totally fine for both audio and video?Yes. But it works well, is easy on the eye, has nice organisation options and library/playlists, rips CD's and DVD's (both vid and audio) perfectly and after the K-lite codec pack it works with all formats perfectly... I tried WinAmp and it just kinda feels clunky and not as well polished. Maybe I need to give it another chance, but when the default built thing in works then I see no need for other software to just fill up my registry. Thor.
You probably didn't look under the hood, and the dsp's, its probably the most advanced under the hood. It can also encodeAlso ffmpeg is far superior to klite codec pack, has some really good option and stutter correction for optical output and spdif. Edited June 1, 2013 by Thor.
