I discovered that I somehow lost all the money on my phone, I had about 6.5€ which is quite a bit and enough to last for a month here. Buuuut now I dont! For no apparent reason.

So, I had some fun this afternoon, used my new recipe to make a big batch of biscuits. And because they're gluten-free, what with no flour in them, for the first time since I met her, I was able to share my cookies with my GF. She has to eat gluten-free, which means no cake or cookies. And that must SUCK. But now she knows how to get cookies, despite a gluten allergy saying no. Hooray for cookies!

Congratulations (hopefully).

If all is done, then the easy bit is over, the hard times begin lmao

I wouldn't call it easy, it was actually hard, if it weren't hard I wouldn't have been able to do it. :P

Anyway, yes, now starts the hard part. But I believe I'm prepared for it, life wasn't easy on me so far but I managed, so I think I can manage this too.

In other news, I have to report to the police station in monday where they will decide when do I go to court.

You see, last night a guy knocked out a girl in front of a cop as I was passing by. Unfortunately for me, the cop earned a black eye trying to pull me off that arsehole (then again, no one told him to stop me). While both the guy and the cop aren't pressing charges, one out of fear and other out of respect, I'll still have to pay a fine for "disturbing the peace", even after the cop claimed I tried to restore the peace (but truth be told, I was beating the crap out of that guy just because I liked it).

My wife's reaction to that is... mixed. She's proud of what I did but at the same time she's furious about it. So whenever she tries to say something, she starts angry saying how I shouldn't be fighting around and how I'm a grown man and when in the end she says I did the right thing, she gets into an endless loop of opening her mouth to say something but then stopping to think.

I haven't seen her this confused in a long time, it's hilarious. ;D

@Vindekarr I don't know, I don't like racing bikes for their speed, I prefer them for their looks and sound. Personally, I prefer bikes like Tomos, Indian, Ariel, Zundapp, DKW, MZ, Jawa, Ural, CZ, etc. You know, the slow, heavy but beautiful oldtimers that sound wondeful. And then there is Ducati.

A Ducati oldtimer is a beautiful machine. Simple mechanics, dry clutch (the sound that think makes is really annoying), a large, heavy engine with relatively low RPM but high power, and the way it sounds when you put a custom 6mm thick, 185mm diameter stainless steel exhaust on it makes me leap in the air out of joy.

But mostly, I like the looks:

Well, speaking for myself, I'm having one of those one-in-a-year good days. First, I've now got a set of wheels IRL, SECOND, I discovered how to make gluten free choc chip biscuits in 10 minutes, and third, I had a crate full of books I bought on Amazon finally arrived.

I do love reading, and I have a particular soft spot for bloodthirsty pulp-fiction Sci-Fi. The current series I'm on is Black Library. Black Library absolutely amazes me, ten years ago they were a fanfic site basically. Unpaid, amateur/hobbyist writers drawing up bloothirsty '80s style war-comics in the techno-gothic WarHammer universe. Ten years later they've been on the New York Time's best seller's list a dozen or more times, outsell Star Wars in Australia, and almost everyone I've spoken to about them in gaming circles, has known them by reputation. They're one of sci-fi's little success stories.

YES, they ARE bloody, dystopian gothic-horror, yes there's something of an aura of gloom, but hey, their character design is at times, truly outstanding, the universe is just amazingly deep, the writing itself is very strong, and the shear continuity even across multiple authors is staggering. When you see one story, told across two books, from the first-person perspective of two characters with completely different viewpoints of life, on opposite sides of a civil war, by different two different authors, without a single contradicting detail, THAT, THAT is amazing editing and co-operation. Especially when the story itself is well-told and entertaining.

(BTW, as for cookies, you start with a big 'ol glob of CHUNKY(it HAS to be chunky) peanut butter, a big pile of roasted peanuts, four eggs, a little caster sugar, and an oven. Bash 'em together and oven it, you get really decent cookies. I like to add some oats aswell)

They sound awesome (books and cookies )

The cookies however, although I would love to make them as we all love nuts in this house, I have to limit the amount my youngest son has do to him have an allergic reaction to them if he eats too many. That is a bummer in itself as he adores nuts and always has. Put it this way he can only have half a Snickers Bar or a small handful of peanuts or pecans a week. Any more and his breathing becomes labored and he has trouble catching his breath. He's never gone into shock but we monitor what he eats to make sure he's safe. When he's away then responsible adults he's with are aware of his allergy  He hates me for it lol

As for the books I love reading and don't get as much time to do so as I would like. They sound very good. I'm a Stephen King, James Herbert and Dean Koontz fan. I also love Patricia Cornwall (I'm sure I've not got her surname right) and Agatha Christie. Dan Brown and Dick Francis are also favourites if I want to lose myself for a few hours.

I used to have a Suzuki motorbike. It was a 250cc pillar box red with amazing chrome detailing. I had to hide it from my parents as they would've freaked me out and I was 22 years old when I bought it.

I had it for 6 months and eventually sold it as I couldn't do with the stressing involved when my parents visited the house lol A mistake if ever there was one :(

On that note I shall love and leave you till alterz... Have fun guys xxx

I agree, selling that bike is a mistake. By the way, red and shiny chrome are my favorite colors.

@Naomis i think your 'assembalies' in nationstates could use some of your attention. You have definetly some issues to attend to there.

@Werne I wait till child-package 1.0 has a confirmed release date to gratulate you and your wive for your 'hard' asembling work.
Btw I agree bikes are cool for crusing, when the weather is nice.

@Vindekar.. great win in making gluten free cookies and i think i recognize the recipe or large parts of it.
