Actually, scratch that. When looking at the number of Gflops (floating point operations per second) the 780TI scores way better then the 780. (4762 GFLOPS versus 4156 GFLOPS)

(GTX Titan does 4709 GFLOPS)

That's what i was thinking to begin with :D Heat is main concern... Another reason why i bought the 7950 gigabyte wind force edition, the cooling is second to none, except asus and evga.

Any prices for the 780TI just yet?

Anyway, if heat is the primary concern, then I'd go for the ACX I mentioned earlier.

Ugh, just looked at that EVGA GeForce GTX classified (the ACX one). What an ugly card that is.

Looks don't matter much, as long as it keeps the card cool.

Waiting for a windforce gigabyte model

November for the 780ti model is a good release date, at least i would have more time to save for one.

Yup GIGABYTE!!!!!

Gigabyte always have superior cooling, beats anything on the market.

Well, they do to me. I've got my rig sitting on top of my desk, so I can't have some ugly card hanging in my case.

Arrrg. Stop editing your posts already will ya? :P

Anyway, that Gigabyte card should defenitely do the trick in terms of cooling. Though it's almost like they stole the design from Inno3D.

Gigabyte isn't all that ugly, the 2 and half inch fans cover all parts of the card, i think that's the proper size.

It doesn't need to move as quick to get that proper cooling, fan speed of 20% is good enough.
