Thor.
Hey Thor, I found a game you might be interested in on Steam. It's called Assetto Corsa, which means "something" in Italian. Basically it's a racing sim designed to compete directly with Gran Turismo, I'll be getting it fully on Wednesday. I've given it a short test run and it's just fantastic-soooo realistic, awesome range of cars, and the graphics are next-gen spec(it was originally going to be a PS4 game) I recommend giving it a look, although it isn't in full release yet. There's going to be a lot of free DLC as well. I'd describe it as Rfactor's realism meeting Project CARS' stunning visuals.http://www.dsogaming.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/471719_424968814196109_305504559475869_1596266_910671970_o.jpg That's not even the max graphics settings(!) Note the Depth Of Field, the 3-D grass, and the real-time reflections. I think the whole EA and Polyphony digital Porsche rivalry is nonsense, the proof is in Project cars. Vindekarr
It's going to be interesting. Project CARS VS Assetto Corsa. I think CARS might have the funding to win, but on the flip side Assetto Corsa's developers are probably the best racing game studio in history, so it's a very fair fight. Plus, Assetto Corsa has better licences than CARS does-Lotus, Ferrari and McLaren-and a variety of F1 teams. IMO it's got more potential than CARS does at the moment, though I expect that will pendulum. The best thing is, it's going to leave the PC with two superb racing franchises all of it's own-for the first time in donkey's years. Vindekarr
I can do without either. Lamborghini? If cars were people, then a Lamborghini would be Miranda Kerr. Gorgeous to look at, smart, can sing pretty well... ...but also kind of useless and ineffectual as well. Lamborghini has never, in the company's 50 year history, made a good racing car. Their Formula One efforts were dismal, they've never been good at Le Mans, and their road cars, despite being drop-dead gorgeous and a whole lot of fun on road are far too blubbery to be any use on a race track. The Aventador is a perfect example: I mean, just look at it, but even with(or perhaps because of) that raging V-12 it's far, far too heavy to be any good as a race car. It weighs almost two tons for crying out loud. So we've established that Lamborghinis aren't good racing cars and that I think Miranda Kerr is impractical, where does that leave Porsche? Well, I never liked Porsche much. Sure, they make good race cars but they've got no heart or soul. Porsche don't make me "feel" anything. If someone offered me a chance to drive Mount Panorama in a Mclaren MP4-12 I'd pay $100 for a ticket. If someone offered me a chance to drive Mount Panorama in a new Porsche 911, I'd probably decline. They're just not... interesting. Porsche is the Nintendo of the car world: they only ever make re-hashes of what was successful 20 years ago, along with a bunch of worthless cash-ins nobody likes. As a car buff I should, technically, applaud their racing heritage but honestly, nothing they've done makes me want to care. The only two Porsches I've ever liked are both from so long ago that nobody even remembers them anymore(the 917 and 956) Edited November 11, 2013 by Vindekarr

It keeps crashing on me, hunts down mod conflict, I miss the old mod manager from Oblvion, The thing had a real time conflict detector and it was pretty darn accuratell you.Far better then anything that's came after it. HA AH HA ITSS AAALLIIVVEE!!!, they finally fixed the bugs that wouldn't allow it to install fro some reason. Although he main installer is bugged the loose version works okay http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5010/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D5010&pUp=1 Found out some major conflict, did you know every dlc conflicts with the main skyrim esp, who would of guessed lol. Vindekarr
Speed isn't everything, a Veyron costs about five million dollars in Australia and that doesn't even include insurance. Five million dollars doesn't get you cupholders, or a back seat, or a boot. All it gets you is a top speed figure: the Veyron can hit 407 kilometres and hour. The sad thing is, there's only two race tracks on the planet where the car can reach that top speed, and neither of them is open to the public. And it's not like you get much acceleration either-the Veyron is completely demolished in a drag race by cars a twentieth it's price. Meanwhile my Nissan GTR came to me for a shade under $40,000 @ 52 kilometres on the clock. It's acceleration is better than that of the Veyron and it's significantly lighter(which is why it accelerates better despite having half the power), which makes it more agile on the mountain roads near my house. It also has a boot, and a back seat that can actually be used for things. And it's got cupholders too. Three of them infact. So to me, given that both I and my passenger can have drinks, and still have a spare cupholder for the midget in the back, the GTR is a vastly superior car.
