I might buy it at the end of the month, right now im between Christmas shopping and Video card saving.

 

It comes highly recommended. The critics are going nuts about it, and the general consensus on most forums is that it's far and above superior to GT-especially in physics and realism. Well worth at least looking at.

Sheesh, my sister is one drama queen. She had a massive tantrum because she wanted to watch Home and Away and we wanted to watch a new Top Gear episode, so she flipped the table and screamed so loud that people in Cairns could have probably heard it and just went bonkers. She started jumping up and down, red faced, squealing and trying to scratch us to steal the remote.

 

What really mystifies me, is that we were intending to record Top Gear and put on Home and Away for her, but NOPE: she had to have the show on IMMEDIATELY. She then kicked my brother in the shin, and he retaliated by kicking her, she tripped over some Jenga blocks that were on the ground, and hit the wall behind her... and then my eardrums nearly exploded as her voice reached unimaginable heights. I feel sorry for our neighbours...

 

Truthfully, I don't care that she got hurt. In fact, she deserved it so everything is justified. AND, to top things off, 10 minutes later and there is no sign that she was even hurt or upset AT ALL. I think she'd make a great actress.

@billyro You know, sometimes I'm grateful for only having a brother. As dumb as he can be (up to a point where the dumbasses on the internet sound like intelligent people leading serious conversations) at lest he never put on a show like that. Could be because he knew I'd beat the crap out of him, who knows.

 

But along with making a scene, women have a different tactic in their arsenal for getting what they want - pouting. If I watch something (like Top Gear or Mythbusters) and she wants to watch one of her soaps, she'll pout until it drives me insane and I change the channel. For advanced tactical deployment, there's also another one - no sex. Luckily, neither of us is capable of that one, so I'm yet to see it in effect.

 

And I'm yet to find a way to get what I want. Damn it. :facepalm:

 

 

 

By the way, can anyone suggest a good mouse? I have a problem with my Trust GXT 14, when I click something it gets clicked a gazillion times. I just clicked the Firefox icon and it opened 12 browser windows. :blink:

Thor-I really do recommend Assetto Corsa. Normally I wouldn't recommend any Indy game, let alone when there's GT6 coming up but this game's different. Assetto Corsa just doesn't feel like an Indy game. The level of quality is actually better than Gran Turismo 6, as are the graphics-if anything you only notice the dev's limited resources in the small car roster, and even that's rapidly expanding. It's just remarkable-this is the first proper PC sim since Need For Speed: Shift, and it's a little Indy game from Italy. Who would have thought, eh?
