Agreed. A mechanic sim is doing little more than simulating work for which you won't be paid. A smart person would simply apprentice as a real mechanic and thus get to play with real cars and make a great deal of money doing it. I'm an engineer(a mechanic by any other name) and the pay is fantastic considering how little work you actually do.

I'm going to Wales next month on the 13th to do a scholarship exam.

I'm doing the computer science exam and the german exam to prove that I am speshul.

Now, the exams in Computer Science are the same like this one from 2009 http://www.aber.ac.uk/en/media/pdfmedia/en/Computer-Science.pdf they are the same almost literally every year. I know this stuff, but I need a reminder.

If someone knows a good resource where I could rehearse this material then PLEASE link me to it. I'm of course rehearsing through my own resources as well, but if someone else has a good one then I'd appreciate that a lot.

And I know German so  they just want me to write a translation and an essay :D

You could ask for copies or links to past papers. I would imagine that each University has its own way of setting exams. Remember that if you're not sure explain your circumstances as, by law over here, you are to be treated fairly and put on an equal footing as those without "difficulties". You know of what I speak.

If you don't get anywhere then let me know and I'll see what I can find over here. There may be things knocking around on some educational sites that I still have access to.

You're best port of call however is the University itself as they should have access to the research materials you need to ensure you are up to date on what they need and what they expect of you. Past papers should be available, if not accessible by internet, then they should be able to email them to you.

Thinking of you always honey xxx

At work today we had this one awful customer. He was a true, complete Bogan: while he was explaining to me what he'd done to his car, he was staringly fixedly(and openly) at the chest of the woman at the sales desk, and drinking beer from a can. As he was leaving he slapped the saleswoman across the backside and threw his beercan at my car while slurring something about how anyone un-Australian enough to buy a Japanese car should be deported "back to China"

Anyway, the apprentice I had fixing his car(After that show he was only ever going to get my worst service) found something in his glovebox and called everyone over: he'd found a box of extra-small Durex and a box of Viagra. Made my freakin' day I swear. I think we were all having trouble looking him in the eye when he came to pick the car up, I also asked him to wish me luck on my way back to China, but I don't think he got the reference.

Thanks naomi,

I've got all the past papers and I know some of the stuff that they ask in them. I'm just asking if people here know some resources where I could rehearse the basics of computer science and programming.

The papers that I linked (here) are all the same pretty much every year. So it shouldn't be a big deal for me to remind myself of everything by then. And the marking scheme is here.

Kotor runs beautifully with Nvidia cards, it runs as smooth as silk with soft shadowing and all the bells and whistles at full screen in 720p. The game was truly ahead of its time.

Now i can mod the crap out of it YAY..
