Thor.
So getting Dragon Age Inquisition for ps4, one game i will ever buy for console, atleast it would look decent enough on console, its a choice a hard one at best. But when it comes to origin ps4 it is. Edited August 18, 2014 by Thor.
billyro
The desire to use mods outweighs my dislike of Origin. Also, it's Dragon Age and nothing will keep me from it. :P
Thor.
I doubt origin will ever allow mods, especially the way there anticheat root kits give false positives the first time i tried installing one of there games. Not to mention the other questionable false positives.Always, always have a good antivirus. its the only way to know what really is going on. i highly doubt they where false positives, just origin is a nasty peace of work. So i uninstalled it and never went back. Edited August 18, 2014 by Thor.
billyro
Mass Effect 3 has mods, and it uses Origin: http://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect3/ I suspect Dragon Age: Inquisition will work similarly. There probably won't be many mods besides tweaks and textures, but it's something. There may even be a toolkit at a later date (although unlikely). As for Origin having "viruses", your antivirus probably did have a false positive. EA would never get away with releasing a platform that is full of viruses. Thor.
No i don't think so, i actually looked up some of the dll's that it was blocking, some where unsigned made by third party. Antivirus's only catch files when they have no publisher attached to them, some open source and malware attach files like that to there programs and the antivirus catches them by default. Preventing piracy as well, as i was told. Edited August 18, 2014 by Thor.

Thor.
maybe you should get a stronger antivirus that catches malware, not all do. i can recommend a few. Lavasoft is a good start.
