I did a thorough test and comparison on my borderline studio home theatre setup and the difference is freaking amazing. Its like a wow factor, especially low bitrate mp3's. but when sticking a cd at a high lossless bitrate it shines. it also has a dsp selection screen with Stereo enhancements, reverb, chorus and so on.http://oi58.tinypic.com/nnp3co.jpg The enhancer pushes the stereo image beyond what it would without it, and its not even working at its max. This brings about very deep and rich sound, no mp3 on its own would ever sound like. its very impressive.
