Kingdom Come: Deliverance is going to be so good. Can you believe that Warhorse, the team making it, is also bringing out a brew of beer along with the game? How cool is that?!

I might try some.

Wow I haven't checked on that game in a long time.

The news for it was very slow for a while. And for literally everything else I've backed besides Starbound.
Darkout, Centration, M&B Bannerlord (haven't backed, but one that I watch), Witchmarsh, and Moon Hunters. The last three actually posted fairly recently with some interesting news, Centration posted fairly recently too, but it was hiring (actually the last three blog/news updates have been), and Darkout is just horrible about news. Nothing since September (and people complained when Starbound was only posting two times a month). To be fair they say they are moving to a new site (and before that the old site was down because they had to renew it or something).

Edit: I did some preemptive PS4 shopping. I had a $114 card and there was a buy two get on free sale on games so I went ahead and got Alien Isolation, Shadow of Mordor, and Lords of the Fallen. I actually have $32 left on it so I could go and get another this weekend. Far Cry 4 or Infamous Second Son would probably be the two I'd pick between. I can't think of what else I looked at.
Originally I went to get a PS4, but they apparently sold out there (and won't get any until someone sells them one, though they had one or two boxed ones that before) so I was going to go later to get one elsewhere. And yes I complain about my laptop but still haven't got (or saved for) a real PC. I thought about and I realized I really only play Skyrim and Starbound (and whatever random indie games I pick up), so until Bethesda's next Elder Scrolls/Fallout game or Bannerlord, Centration and Deliverance release I don't need to upgrade. And with a PS4 I can play Bloodborne.

God I hate it when someone comes and s***s all over your work. "Oh, this doesn't meet my nostalgia-fuelled lore-purist vision of the game." Arse-wipe, if you don't like it, then don't use it.

Now that I've got that out of my system, I can become a pleasant person once again. Are you going to get Inquisition as well, K00L?

BTW, tonight I'm flying back to Queensland for a few weeks, and since I cannot take my computer, I won't be able to post on this thread as much (I might still use my phone). So yeah, goodbye Last Posters.

-snip-

Play without mods at all, most lore friendly play through ever. I get irritated when I see those, "Is this lore friendly, I'm doing a lore friendly only play through. Guess I'll have to pass," all over. I shouldn't, but I do.

I swear they ask it sometimes just to flaunt that they play with only lore friendly mods, like its the cool thing to do or something. I think I feel that way because I've seen some really dumb/hateful comments about lore friendliness. I really don't like the comments sections on mods sometimes.

I think I might get Inquisition with my gift card if it's cheap enough, I dunno how much it would be to buy a used one. I also want to get Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin (thank you for improving a game I just spent $60 on last year [PLUS 3 $15 DLC] and making me pay $60 again, while Steam owners get to "upgrade" for half of that), so that comes way before Far Cry 4.

I found a game yesterday that requires the player to find clues, it does show us when a clue is found.

It doesn't give you a map to follow, it doesn't tell you to go back to such and such and so on, holding your hand if you don't find the clues, and if you miss one of the detective works combinations you can't go back, to a save to gather it up.

You can go back and seek the mysterious even by back tracking along the trail and hunting through the rubble, and the woods. Exploring will reveal everything and if you have the investigative mind you will be able to find the resulting answers to each case you found the clues to solve every mysterious situation.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

Of course it's really got some play in it that really takes some thought to figure out. I did not go off and seek help elsewhere until I was sure I was stumped. I only missed two points, and I gave myself a good talking to for seeking the walk through to find out what I had.

I hope your journeys bring you home well and happy.

I saw that on Steam as a preorder I think, and added it to my wishlist back then. Looked pretty and fun.

I played Bloodborne for a bit... I'm terrible. I also accidentally recorded myself getting squashed by some big thing with a cleaver.
I've also already jumped three times and sworn more than I'd care to admit. (In about 30 or so minutes)

Bloodborne is a PS4 exclusive (which is how I accidentally recorded myself, the new controllers have a "Share" button) unfortunately, but it's pretty much a Victorian styled, harder (it's supposed to be more fast paced) Dark Souls.

It's weird not having Thor posting here...
