billyro
So I've had this urge to play Morrowind recently (and have been doing so) and just noticed that when the Daedric princes speak they are talking through your character. I was just chilling listening to Sheogorath, and happened to go into the vanity camera deal where I saw my guy's mouth moving. Oh really? Whoa, I never knew that! That's actually pretty cool, though. And could be a cool lore thingo... I've been wanting to play Morrowind again as well, but I can't be bothered getting all the mods set up for it. And I want to try that Lyinthdonea mod, too. I'm watching DragonBallZ live action movie...I still don't understand what a dragonball is. The Dragonball Revolution movie or whatever it's called? Yeah, that... thing is... just bad. If you haven't seen the actual anime Dragonball Z, then I reckon that's your new priority in life. Also there's another Dragonball live action movie from China or Thailand or something, but I haven't seen it. It looks better than the atrocious Revolution movie, though. My brother came home with a $2000 TV today. He was going to get a cheaper one but he decided that a 60" TV was necessary for the Wii U (he's getting the crib set up for the next Zelda game - even though it doesn't have a release date). I mean... it's a nice TV, but I wouldn't have spent that much on one. Ah well, it's his money to do with as he wishes. Deleted54170User
Doctor Whovian?! While playing of FOW: The Last Child of Gallifrey I got to thinking. What am I?! After considering all the points of reference. Like Which Doctor was first? That simple, the Doctor was. His regeneration made him a new body, not a new personality. So, in that case if I'm the last, I am also the first. Oh! NOO! I am the first and the last Doctor Who. Egad! I figured out the mystery of who's first, I am a FAN! I WIN! Deleted54170User
I WIN! AGAIN! LOL That was too Easy! Put up a Fight next time! Stomp, stomp, stomp. Hmm? We must be mindful of our surroundings. The Air Smells Dangerous!
billyro
I finally got the stinking weight slider to work! No crashes, no weird deformations, no glitches... just pure, working armour. http://puu.sh/jFGDY/7d95b9a748.jpg Now to retexture... EDIT: Did some retexturing... http://puu.sh/jFSvZ/ecc3f7f273.jpg Made the metals the same colour so it blends better, and also darkened the fur/cloth/straps quite a lot. Right now, I think the blackness of the armour is a little too... off-putting? I might change it to a dark brown or something. Also, the chainmail could be darker... K00L
Congrats on your Dawnbreaker getting hotfiles! As for the armor, I dunno. I keep focusing on those fur tights... :tongue:Edit: And wow, that sounds so inappropriate but I just meant it looked odd. The lack of fur-ness/alpha on the waist like what's on the shoulder is weird too. Those are things Bethesda did though, right? The black doesn't look bad, but a dark brown would probably look good too. billyro
Thanks! The only thing I dislike about getting into hotfiles is that there seems to be an influx of idiots. Yep, it's a mash-up of vanilla armours (though I'm using aMidianBorn and XRC textures) so I haven't added any custom parts to it. I've done some more on the armour (more specifically, the gauntlets, boots and helmet) and this is what the whole thing looks like: http://puu.sh/jFV8N/e2007bb1a6.jpg Leather is still too dark, but that can be easily fixed now that I have it set up for all the individual pieces. The boots need to be edited because... well, look at them. Also, the gauntlets aren't as reflective as everything else for some reason (even though they should be). Helmet is fine, but the horns are perhaps a tad shiny. EDIT 2: Brightened the leather and now I think it looks much better. (Really quick images this time) http://puu.sh/jFVVv/d1d6ff2cde.jpghttp://puu.sh/jFVX2/c5cac6f071.jpg So... to-do list:-Paint over the decorations so it's flat metal, then perhaps add unique engravings that match up per-piece.-Regenerate the normal maps after the first bit is done, reducing the opacity of the leather so it's not so... specular. -Make the boots, gauntlets and helmet meshes and then import them into the CK (only done the main body so far). Deleted54170User
If only Fawkes could find his way to Massachusetts? Oh! How they've changed the humans appearance since Fallout, and over again to Fallout 3. They who were dipped in the VAT in Fallout and those in Fallout 3 got saturated, in a private room with FEV, were similar only in their huge size. Old Mutants looked way more like an inflated muscle bound human bent forward because of their six pack abs being shrunken too much and tighter in their middle. While Fawkes of Fallout 3, an asexual creature, Meta-Human Fawkes, appeared more dangerously like a real...um...male/female, not an evolved one. After defeating an Enclave soldier Fawkes, in Fallout 3, shouted, "I WIN AGAIN!" If not Fawkes? How about a Witch from Salem, Mass? Stumbling across an old burial site and accidentally resurrecting a wicked witch, companion material, who realizes her lifestyle will have to change, for the wasteland is now her home. Looks much better with the leather brightened up. Will this be compatible with say...amidianborn, or strictly standalone?
billyro
Strictly standalone. I've edited the textures from aMidianBorn though, so it's got that quality in it. Anyway, here's how it looks now... http://puu.sh/jG5zw/a9f7e2e0f4.jpg I originally did draw some new ornaments on top of the metal... but I actually liked it better when it was plain. Far out, though... regenerating the environment and normal maps every time I edit the diffuse is a pain. I could just... not do that, but then I won't know if it's turning out well or not. I've made another list of stuff to do tomorrow:-Brighten gauntlet leather.-Brighten chest-piece some more.-Add more detail and degradation to the edges of the new smoothed areas (compare chest-piece to ribcage armour for example)-Fix dismemberment modifiers (boots clipping) Anyway, I'm going to sleep now (nearly 4 AM). Edited August 18, 2015 by billyro
