I found the SKSE appeared in my STEAM Library, I had not been looking for it, it just appeared there.

I downloaded the SKSE from STEAM's site and after running it both versions of Skyrim worked. And besides the wonky walls in the cavern in the GOTY version I don't see a lot of differences yet.

Except for the 32 bit differences with the 64 bit view that is. Skyrim SE looks...In 64 bit. :woot:

I've played Skyrim GoTY with so many mods that spiff up the landscape I believe I understand what you mean.

With the 64bit Skyrim SE it's not dulling to see all the functions of water, fish swimming in it from several view points, and even a great distance above staring from above on the cliff side I could see fish swimming in the river, just like in real life.

The splattering of water on rocks sticking out above the water, waterfalls spray turning to mist as it spewed out, and to see items floating on the breeze instead of dropping straight down all the time. Flames on a candle would die from such wind gusts I've seen in caves, and dust would blind us that is whipped around on a breeze in the Special Edition.

I'm not going to wait for a bundle of new mods.

I already have many texture mods that change the landscape so grass, flowers, various vines and leafy wood plants all seem real. They will work because the resolution for the GoTY was not restricted, I put all the people who did much of the art in my friends list so I would remember who to thank for such great work. I'm sorry if I was so busy enjoying the game I simply did not get around to making it known what a wonderful bunch of people they are.

Many modders made the landscape mods so all you have to do is drop them in the Data folder. Or with the Special Edition they only need be placed in the Mod folder. I only have 60 or so left of the people who modded for different games in my friends list. Not all. Because the server did have problems, and I did some curious digging around in the system to find out how they made the mods.

At one time I had over 200 people in my friends list. All of them a modder.

I am sad to report I never managed to make anything I got to upload to show them how much I had learned studying their techniques.

use the 2017 4k defuse textures, it will use a lot of vram. Of course the gtx1080 may vary depending how much vram you have.

Also you dont need iinspector to tweak the fps like i have, just dont use borderless window mode. just turn of v-sync using the ini tweaks like i have.
