Wow! It has been 15 years since snow used to get 2 feet deep overnight on the first Winter's snow. I had to shovel off the drive by the next morning. Trees used to have snow on their branches so they bowed under the weight and sometimes it even broke their lower branches. It was a Saturday Evening Post perfect front page post for Xmas Day every year. And we had Snow 2 to 4 feet deep at 6000 feet above sea level at times for 3 to 4 months every year with relief in the plains at 3300 feet above sea level occasionally because of Chinook weather 2 or 3 times in the Winter. Snow Skiers loved the mountain ski resorts around Montana and came from all over the World to ski here. I read that the ski resort owners, resorted to buying a snow making machine for those months when there wasn't enough snow in the mountains in the past 15 years.
