Eshenaleros
get yourself a good computer and fork over the money. we as a community guarantee that a modded oblivion is a better oblivion! damn, I sound like a PR agent. anyways, that's the general view of the nexus. you have to get yourself the computer version of the game to have it modable
Gaikotsu Akunin
Why would you play an FPS on a console in the first place? Mods are the very reason I get to dig up all my old games and breathe new life into them. So yeah, what Eshenaleros said
AncientSpaceAeon
No mods on X360. But there is DLCs, but they aren't that good. Better you buy Shivering Isles on x360, IF you CAN'T afford a good pc for playing Oblivion. Buy a pc.
Leenysaurus
You technically can somewhat mod the Xbox version of Oblivion, but you have to mess with the console itself and it can get your gamertag banned. It also voids your warranty and all that - so it's doable to a small extent, but you aren't supposed to do it. You can't do a whole lot to the Xbox version anyway, I think the most you can really do is mess with the level cap and whatnot. As everyone else is saying, the PC version is well worth it. Tons of mods, new ones coming out constantly ... try to get yourself a PC able to run it. If you want to see how well your current PC would handle Oblivion, try this site: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest The site uses Java to directly compare your PC's specs to any game on that list, and will tell you how close to max visual settings your PC can run the game in question. Oblivion is on the list. Hope that helps somewhat.

bben46
No matter what you see, the mods here that are made for the PC will NOT work on any console.
annoyinglogin2
I think you can make retextures/replacement meshes work but A) It's a pain in the arse to do it most likely (it was on the PSX)B) A lowly console can't handle much modded data before going boom
