homeworlder1
Recently i've finally set up a collection of mods that does not crash my games. Well, not directly anymore at least. Now i experience that the game is slow alltogether, it takes a long time to start up, initially load, and the scripts work a lot slower. e.g. Running with double speed or justing Whirlwind sprint repeatedly WILL make everything "freeze", npc's standing still, menu's not working, ingredients not being picked, etc. This also happens in big battles. I do have a modified memory, to 768 MB without modifying my uGrids. What is causing this ? ENB maybe ? On the buggy part, i will get weird things like (SPOILERS), when Ancano is trying to "activate" the eye of magnus and the Arch Mage stops him, the quest completes and i don't get a new one and everybody, even ancano, carries on with their life while the Arch Mage dissappeared, and only being able to adopt my children to live in the house without the bedroom, while entering any of my houses causes any of the residents to say "You shouldn't be in here", and i get a bounty. For staying in my own home. I don't know what to do, i am completely out of ideas. Rusey
Some of the minor mods have been removed since this modlist was updated. ... Were they scripted? If so, that could be one of your problems. Otherwise, if scripts are running slowly you have too many/you don't have the GPU to handle it. The memory patch helps, but you need to also have the computer horsepower to back it up. You're also adding a LOT of NPCs, which can be taxing on a system -- especially if scripts need to be applied to those NPCs (as Wet and Cold, for instance, does). I see your point though this problem has emerged recently, and previously nothing was slowed down. It is the game itself that has gotten slow, and new savegames will be affected by this as well. If it makes any difference i have ClearInvalidRegistrations activated in SKSE.ini and chargen.dll, MemoryBlocksLog.dll, nioverride.dll, showRaceMenu_preCacheKiller.dll, SKSE_Elys_AltF4.dll, and SKSE_Elys_Uncapper.dll in my plugins folder. The wet and cold thing is definitely a thing to consider though, and i will try to remove some of the NPC-altering options. Still, none of these possible solutions explains the odd bugs. Georgiegril
Your system is much better than mine...I am always looking for performance improvements. To this end, have you tried:1. Using a texture optimizer (like SMCO, DDSOpt, or Optimizer Textures) to optimize your textures and normal maps?2. Are you limiting your fps to avoid the hurry up-slowdown issue?3. Kinda obvious, but have you checked to make sure that you don't have any unessential background service/process causing the problem? --things like autoupdates, autoscans, IM or Email checkers, etc.
Dhegonus
unparking your cpus and using something like razor gamebooster can help a lot, no matter what specs i have, i'll always do those two, for the extra power :)

I'll try, but i doubt this is a texture issue2. Nope, should i ?3. Yes unparking your cpus and using something like razor gamebooster can help a lot, no matter what specs i have, i'll always do those two, for the extra power :smile:I'm not so fond of any Razer software, but what is the so called unparking? :)
Georgiegril
2. Yes Have you tried using skyrim performance monitor to track various performance indicators in game? If not, I would do that, too.
camaro_69_327
A few things..... Looks like you are using BOSS to sort your mods....could you post your BOSS log. I say looks like because all the mods you have AFTER the bashed patch would be mods BOSS didn't recognize. One of them for sure is in the wrong place. According to the author of Immerse Armors, the 2 mods from that, need to load in this order.Load Order:Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.espHothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp The Bashed patch needs to be last loading (except) for a few cases where the author states it need to be after Bashed, OR if its a dynamic patch, IE: Reproccer. You have a 5400 rpm HDD so you will have stutters as the game loads data. As the poster (Georgiegrill) above states, get Skyrim performance monitor and see whats going on. Yes, limiting your frame rate to a lower value will make the game seem smoother. its easy to see the difference between 100 FPS and 20 then it is to see the difference between 30-45 . if you set the FPS to be 60 and find it jumps from 60 down to 25-45 then setting it at 30 would only cause you to see the difference of 25-30. Yes the game will look liquid smooth if at a constant 30 FPS. IF you are using BOSS its not working for you...this part is a mess...lol Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmDawnguard.esmHearthFires.esmDragonborn.esmUnofficial Skyrim Patch.espUnofficial Dawnguard Patch.espUnofficial Hearthfire Patch.espUnofficial Dragonborn Patch.espAzarHair.esmRaceCompatibility.esmXFLMain.esmAP Skyrim.esmHighResTexturePack01.espHighResTexturePack02.espHighResTexturePack03.esp The unofficial patches should load directly after the DLC they are for, and before the next DLC is loaded. So more like this...Dawnguard.esmUnofficial Dawnguard Patch.espHearthFires.esmUnofficial Hearthfire Patch.espDragonborn.esmUnofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp With the 3 HD DLC's i would not be surprised if your are over filling that 2 GB GPU and are spilling over into system RAM and seeing a stutter from that. Get .."Skyrim Preformance Monitor" run the game, and post a screenie...I am curious... :smile:Post your BOSS log.... EDIT: Google for the APP to unpark. read up on it to see if its something you want to do. Edited March 19, 2014 by camaro_69_327
homeworlder1
I got my load order fixed, turned out i was missing the userlist file from the unofficial patches, but my game is still slow and the scripts are very delayed, etc. Also, i searched on unparking, and apparently Windows 8 already got that from the go?
