redstreak1
Any person knows in Morrowind it's better to use enchanted weapons than any mere iron/steel blades b/c they typically do more damage coupled with their special attacks (lightning, fire, frost damge i.e.), the only exceptions being weapons like ebony swords, daedric weapons, and possibly the larger claymores - but then again even these can be enchanted in turn. Now let's talk weapons! *unsheaths his blue-aura enshrouded ebony shortsword* During the game, I saved a few ordinary weapons that I thought to enchant later and made sure to power-up my greater & grand soul gems with Antiock souls, Daderas, and even a few Hungers so they'd have a decent enough amount of magic to work. In my case, I chanced upon a sweet one-handed ebony shortsword that worked VERY well w/o any enchantments and I sucked a Frost Antiock into a greater soul gem..... BOOM! Went to an enchanter in Ald-Ruhn and created my Nord's new sword: "Northstar". B) (I had to resist the temptation to name it "Frostmourne" from WarcraftIII :o :P ) "Northstar", as it's name suggests, I endowed with frost-damage enchantment when it strikes. Originally I had hoped to grant it a soul-trap enchantment too, but even if I used one of my grand soul gems I couldn't have both so I made it an exclusive frost weapon. Frost damage, although it lasts for just a second, ranges from 11 to 55 - quite a blow when compared to your 'measly' Wild Sparkswords or Frostblades. Against critters as big as or smaller than a Nix-Hound WHAM! Only one strike needed when "Northstar" is fully charged, and against "humanoid" (I would say human, but then again you Elves [Dark, Wood, and Light], Khaji, Argonians, and Orcs would all collectively growl at me) opponents only two to three strikes are needed for the moderately armored (admittedly anyone w/ Daedric/Ebony/Orcish armory would stand a greater chance). My "Northstar" has proven to be a great aid in battles and no doubt my Nord, Takar, would take great pride in it. So talk about your favorite enchanted weapons here and what they can do! :)
Switch
well my char's had a number of enchanted 2 handed swords over the months ive been playing him: Highflame - this was his first sword, 11 pts fire damage, iron claymore. i just made it so i'd do damage to ancestor ghosts and others that arent harmed by normal weapons Runefire - second sword, a nordic claymore this time about 25 pts fire damage, picked it up on my first visit to Caldera, made it to slay tougher weapon-immune monsters. Soulburne - third sword, fire 30 pts and soul trap enchanted, made it just so i didnt have 2 keep buying cr@ploads of fphyggi's gem-feeder scrolls. also completed bloodmoon with it. Chrysamere - fourth sword, the legendary paladins sword, came across it in abanabi and completed morrowind with it. Trueflame - fifth and final sword, u shud know what it does if u have tribunal as its the sword u get near the end of the main quests in it. if u dont, its 20-75 damage, 30 pts fire damage in 1 ft on hit. thats all of em :P

Nevex
For me I normally don't make my weapons but instead stick with the in-game uniques that kick arse. Trueflame and Hopesfire have been my companions many many times. While I also have a Daedric Dai-katana with a GS grand soulgem on it and 100 frost 100 fire damage on target, ended up naming it Revenge of the Icy-Hot Patch  . Anyways thats about it :) though I have made quite a few weapons I usually don't us them.
DreamOfTheRood
First Enchanted Weapon: (Dwemer Axe)I stole a Dwemer axe from the still-bleeding body of a Camonna Tong member in Balmora during Larrius Varro's quest. I presented it as a gift to myself and used it for a variety of functions, such as cleaving the ab-dead and the remaining Camonna Tong. I enchanted this weapon with 8 - 15 fire damage and laughed as it caused Cliff Racers to burn. I found that in the best interests of my honor and to honor Larrius Varro, I would stay away from the Thieve's Guild from there on out. I found the Thieve's Guild's way of paying off the guards when I was in trouble to be hypocritical. Second Enchanted Weapon: (Ebony Scarmace) While hunting through the caverns that house criminals, I came upon some very enticing artifacts, including an Ebony mace. I enchanted this mace with Soultrap and 20-40 fire damage; however, I did not fully understand enchanting at this point, and it is not strong enough for lengthy use. The enchanting lasts for only a few hits before I must switch it out for a more thaumaturgically durable weapon. Third Enchanted Weapon: (Sixth House Sunhammer) The Sixth House bastions scattered across Vvardenfell are frightening and filled with mutated creatures best sent back to whatever hell spawned them. I had to sacrifice much of what I was carrying to use this weapon, and I only enchanted it with 10-20 points of Strength Absorption. Again, it became another weapon that could only be used a few times before the enchantments failed. Fourth Enchanted Weapon: (Daedric Mace of Castration) This newly-crafted weapon is quickly becoming my chief offense. Zed in Balmora enchanted this for me. It absorbs 10-20 Strength as well as causing suffering with 20-40 frost damage. I will ascend to Red Mountain with this and make sure it will be a cold day in hell. Dream ... ThetaOrionis01
I've got a couple of Daedric swords (claymore and wazikashi) enchanted with absorb health....as much health as the enchantment value would allow. Excellent against swarms of goblins and lichs in Tribunal. thanateros
Probably the best item i've made was a daedric Katana called Shadow Star with 5 secs paralyze, 5 sec silence, and 15 frost damage. others include staple constant effects like 4-5 magic regen.
