Commando1701
Hi; I'm just wondering why in my version of oblivion (when i start a new game) all map areas are already pre-explored(bruma, chorrol, cloud temple etc, and I can fast travel to them too)? I'm using QTP3;Unofficial Oblivion Patch; QT3 Minimized Patch; and the 1.3 extension patch;unofficial official mods patch; and the unofficial SI patch....The only map mod im using is elven map redux (but it never did this before); are there any possible reasons why? And can I fix this without having to reinstall the vanilla?
LFact
Unless you typed 'tmm 1' in console, that map should be marked on cities only. 'Add Map Marker' shows almost all vanilla places on map, but it doesn't make them fast-travel ready(still you have to explore).
Commando1701
I didn't use the command interface...this is a completely new game and a fresh install because i had to reformat the computer because of corrupt files. What is happening is that all the cities are displayed on the map...is there a command line order that i can give to the interface to turn off this glitch? Commando1701
i experimented and put in tmm 0 in the console and it fixed the problem. Thank you very much to everyone that helped. This problem is solved; once again thank you :)

MikeHibs
This isn't a glitch, all the cities are already explored by default.
Commando1701
i see. thank you. I've reinstalled oblivion, and am going to test each mod one by one to see who the dead ringer is.

So it's not a mod that causes them being 'known' but a mod can be used to prevent it.
