played like 47hrs and i like it, i get board round the 30 hour mark with most games cause i have a short attention span but borderlands expansion into my mind has takin a toll, probably because of the post apoplectic world that it provides :) and because it has many references to many things ive experienced such as, mad max, the dark tower, blaster master<<one of the red vehicles colors names is blaster master, which is a game ive played all throughout my life for the nes and most of the vehicles reminded me of this game as in, you get a tank and you have to explore a world which sums up borderlands>>, and its a first person shooter rpg all in one so it take elements from halo vs diablo. blows my mind away although the vehicular driving sure does need some help! because of this fact that the driving needs some help, at least in the pc version, i would give this game a 4out5 for being not only kinda different but for combining various elements of different games and ideas into one or i guess i could go play an alternative game such a modern warfare 2....

Borderlands was OK. I got to the ending and thought it was a bad buy. Granted it was fun at times, but the best part of the game was the DLC "Zombie Island of Dr. Ned". I highly recommend to anyone reading this and thinking about buying the game to consider getting Dragon Age or Left 4 Dead 2. That being said the game had serious graphical issues, annoying AI, little-to-none customization for the character, but it had interesting characters and it was funny at times. And the alien weapons at the end of the game I found to be crappy. I'd give the base game of Borderlands a solid 7/10.

Possible Spoiler

Playen the Zombie expansion now, as you can tell by my sig that its for the ps3 version, good way to gain xp before the big fight happens. During original quests.

I'd give it a 6/10. For various reasons, not excluding the fact that everyone's more interested in playing Left4Dead 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Mulitplayer, few people even bother playing Coop anymore, which was supposed to be one of the major things about the game.

i really love the game first did palythrough one singleplayer did all the side missions but not yet dlc and loved it and for second playthrough i went fooling around online, also great and fun. i've had more fun of borderlands then modernwarfare 2, but not finding modernwarfare 2 special :)

i love the style and the gameplay the jumping shooting + rpg elements.

i'm giving it a 9/10 i've just really enjoyed it i wished for some more open houses and doing some random stuff rpg kinda stuff but a game is about the fun and i had lots :)

btw on ps3 i still see enough players doing coop but also many in second playthrough and always soldiers :)

Well, once I saw the type of graphics in use, I turned away :/ Dont care much for that style myself but.. The game itself looks cool, a mix of FPS and RPG is different.. Other then that, its just another shooter IMO..

I loved it how it actually had co-op, I rarely see games with such capability that don't require you to buy several copies of the game just to play with two people. The ending kind of sucked, though.. The expansions were hilarious.
