Just an update.

 

The map is underway again. After it accidentally being completely flattened... ( UGH )

I went back to the original version that had been flattened, 2 weeks of work is simply too much.
So I've been raising the land instead of retreating back to an older version of the .esp

 

Honestly I'm glad this happened, it's giving me a second chance to re-do it. I'm about half way done. The map has a much nicer flow now, is a tad bigger, and feels a lot more organic and closer to that of The Shivering Isles.

Next time I post an update I promise there will be pictures.

In other news I've been talking with the TES Renewal ( Skywind team ) about a trade, with us gaining a custom Hunger model.
That's all I've got for now, till next time.

Hello everyone, me and Halgarth are hard at work on bringing The Shivering Isles to you all.
But it will take a lot longer with it just being two people.

 

We need more people to help this go along a bit faster.
With me making the map, and Halgarth doing all the modeling and textures, it's making the project go slow, even though most of our free time goes to working on the project.

If you're reading this and have some talent in either 3D modeling, making nice retextures, Scripting with Payprius, composing music, or even a talented voice actor.

We want you!

As I said, it's only 2 people at the moment ( with help from the creator of Disc World and Daniel Hodge the narrator for several Skywind videos ), a project this scale and ambitious simply needs more people on board to come out faster, and better.

So again, if you've got some talent,
we need;

 

3D Modelers
Music Composers

Scripters

Voice Actors
Adept ability at making retextures.

 

If you really want to see this mod succeed then please lend a hand, even if you don't think you're that good, anything will help.

Your going to make it incompatible with these two mods?

I can simply move the portal and make the island again, it's not that big and wasn't hard to make. It shouldn't be an issue.

To avoid any conflict why not move the Portal somewhere entirely different? maybe Arcwind point of a place near the Cyrodiil Border just not at the gate otherwise it would b incompatible with Beyond Skyrim.

I'm trying to stay true to the original Shivering Isles. A portal appeared in the largest body of water.

I guess I could always do it in Riften's lake, near Treva River.

After going back and playing the original expansion, I realized that The Shivering Isles was a lot more tropical and swampy than I had originally thought. So a lot more unique green plants, and unique fungi have been added.

Now for a very important part, the plot.

 

The plot has been made for the mod.

 

Long ago Sheogorath approached Hircine in a duel, not of their own abilities, but of pawns they'd use to fight for themselves.
Hircine was defeated by Sheogorath, and as Hircine is as he is, he did not take it well.

For hundreds of years Hircine has held this grudge against Sheogorath and the shame of defeat has riddled his mind for far too long. The plot of revenge begins.

Hircine brings his beasts and daedra to the realm of Sheogorath; The Shivering Isles.

You must enter the realm, go to Sheogorath, and help him stop Hircine's invasion, before Hircine turns all of the inhabitants into werebeasts and crazed predators that go under Hircine's will and destroy New Sheoth.


This plot, now giving the mod a actual title;

Skyrim: The Shivering Isles 2; Hunt

There will be a lot more exciting things coming up soon! So keep a lookout here.

AND DON'T FORGET - We're still in much need of 3D Modelers, Scripters, Composers, and Voice Actors!

Note though; any Voice actors willing to join won't have much to do at the moment, the mod is not ready to have quests implemented anytime soon.
