LordAndSavior
joke or not, if nbviii comes out after fallout4 i won't even bother to download it. just like that, i assume after we head to boston most of us won't be back in vegas for a looooooooooong timeThere are many people (myself included) who have very low expectations for Fallout 4. Same here, especially since Beth damaged their goodwill with me before w/ paid mods and ESO.
Frogslime
You should feel lucky you get mods.I do. Also, am I the only one who has high expectations for fallout 4?I've seen the pre-release footage and I like what I've seen.I'm expecting a good yet buggy game like fallout 3, one which I could play for many hours on many playthroughs.Of course I'm not sure what to expect story wise, but I'm not too worried about that.I hope there's a lot of funny dialogue choices, with plenty of options for low Int. characters. (Talking to people in Helios One in N.V. had some good examples of what I'm looking for.)That "Bloodbug" from the gameplay trailer looks like it would be really scary. Sure, 4 won't be as good as 1, 2, or New Vegas, but it looks a hell of a lot better than 3. It looks like they have put more work into story this time around, and even if it'll likely not be a story as well written as New Vegas, or as the Someguy series, but that doesn't mean it'll be bad. And as for judging the possible story based on how Skyrim was, I thought Fallout 3 had a better story than Oblivion, so I'm not worried about 4's not being better than Skyrim. The Elder Scrolls games, other than Morrowind, seem to have overall less story focus than the Fallout games.

I loved Oblivion's story, really felt that me and Martin were fighting for the fate of Tamriel (even if the battles are small, but its an older engine,it wouldn't handle a huge amount of NPCs),really felt sad when Martin sacrificed himself to save Tamriel and the Septim dynasty was destroyed, and the Mages Guild actually had you use magic and Thieves Guild had you use stealth, unlike Skyrim, but I disliked Fallout 3's story,it didn't provoke any emotions for me,even when my Dad died,I knew him for 20 minutes for Christ's sake

Back when I first played it, I was going through a bad depression, and I think the rather tragic feeling main quest, Dark Brotherhood quests, and even parts of Shivering Isles were hard to enjoy. SirMcRae
Nope. Many possible scenarios : 1) Someguy wants to stay completely focuses on NVBIII and don't wanna waste time answering questions.2) Someguy wants to be ready for the scripting in Fallout 4 and put the project on hold so he can learn more.3) Someguy is totally burned out, wishing he still had the stamina to keep modding, but every time he opens the GECK, he is demoralized.4) Someguy is leading his own Vault-Tec experience on us and wants to see how long it will take us to go crazy.5) Someguy was on scheduled, but a very important real life issue took the first place in his priorities. He'll come back to modding once it is solved.6) Someguy has amnesia.7) Someguy was admitted to hospital.8 ) Someguy is in jail.9) Someguy is dead.10) Most likely, Someguy is trying to invent the most disgusting and perverted word so he can use it in NVBIII.
