Retribution
Running Oblivion on Win 7 64-bit, with an ATI 5770, 6 gigabytes of RAM, and an i7 860. Prior to installing the second disc of the GOTY edition, it looked normal, but ran terribly slow. After I installed it, it runs perfectly, but does this.http://i45.tinypic.com/52nm2v.jpg
XJDHDR
Have you tried turning off HDR in the Video options menu? That may be the cause but I'm just guessing.
MonsterHunterMaster
Yes, it could be the HDR settings. Here is a link to a similar thread, maybe it helps you in any way -> everything is shiny?
Retribution
Disabling HDR got rid of the blurriness, I believe, but it still looks abnormally bright and colorless.
nosisab
uh? something seems to have messed a lot with your Oblivion.ini file, try renaming it and let the game build a fresh one. PS: if it's not just the ingame gamma slider too high. Retribution
Tried deleting the ini. It didn't work. It's not just bright, either. The colors are different than what they usually are.
Illiad86
you might have to re-install again, looks like maybe the textures were corrupted during installation. That's really weird looking though
