Hello.

I decided i would hop on the forums and ask a nice question that everyone has an answer too. What was your reaction when you stepped out of the sewers for the first time and into a beautiful world that you could do anything in? I mean its basically like living another life in a another world when it comes to Oblivion. But its a world that you cannot live in without modding hahaha

But what was your first thought or reaction?

Umm...when I first start Oblivion, I was angry. I had just entered the Kvatch gate and couldn't figure out why I wasn't moving (It seems my inventory was full). Eventually, I started a new game, learned about fast travel and item weights and now, I love the Elder Scrolls. Then again, it was the Same thing with Dragon Age. It was a slow start, kind of infuriating, but then you are up until 4am playing when you have university in four and a half hours lol :bunny:

Believe me you are not the first to ask this :P

For me the first few hours where amazing. I was just looking around with a huge smile on my face, admiring everything and not having a clue of what I'm doing. The landscape beauty socked me at first, but after I got used to it I considered it as a normal part of the game and then I went to Imperial City I think, being the closest and started again to look around amazed. To make this short it was both fun and interesting.

Ha ha yeah I have to agree with you Pushkatu . The Imperial City amazed me at first. But what made me so mad was that after a while it started to become very boring because the city seemed empy. But then I started downloding mods to improve the cities and i got Better Cities and now everything is beautiful hahaa and plus there are new people and so on. But Oblivion is a great game and I love it!!! It may not beat Morrowind but its still one of my top favs!

I played Morrowind for years before I decided to buy Oblivion and because my PC was not very powerful.

Oblivion I knew was a graphics game, compared to the other TES games. But I soon realized that the setup was a little easier to do than Morrowind. I could not wrap my head around Blade skill and no Levitation spells. But I soon adjusted.

I decided that I would do the main quest first. :wallbash: So stupid! It literally took my a month to get the eye of Azura!

Oblivion is a good game I enjoy it very much.

Long Live TES!!!

Haha Im sure it will live long since it is so great.

I have to admit that I played Oblivion on the Xbox for two years and actually enjoyed it but it started to get old after so long that i just could not take anymore. So, to solve that problem, I custom built a computer and bought Oblivion for the PC and found out about mods and started downloading everyday haha i just cant stop playing now because it is so much better on PC.

You must realy like this game if you played it for 2 years on your xbox. I can't play the game without mods anymore. It's... lame!

Hmmm, my first though? Well, after the sewers I was kind of disappointed that some of the skills were combined, and unarmored was removed all together. I still had high hopes though, because the graphics were amazing. I unfortunately only played Morrowind on the xbox so I didn't know about mods, until after play Oblivion for a while. The mods just made it so much better.

I played Morrowind on the X-Box for a while before Obivion came out. Morrowind seemed like it was a real "nitch fan based game", for poeple who really like fanticy novels or "SFI-FI" junkies. I rememeber having to do allot of time consuming reading in the game, and the action was a-little disapointing. There was butiful turrain graffics in the game. I would play Morrowind off and on. I would get bord with it easyly.

When I first played Oblivion it was on a custom gaming PC, so the Graffics and every else was 10 times better the the X-Box version of Morrowind I played. I remember thinking to my self, "This is what late peroid Rome most of been like." The begining of the Dark Ages. I could feel the tention in the "air", it felt like this whole soicity can come crashing down at any moment. Just like late period Rome when they knew at any minute, the bargarion hords where coming and they were all going to die horrible deaths. It seemed to have reflections of are own history in the game. Really Cool! It seemed a bit smaller then Morrowind as far as map size. I was not concerned though, I new that they would release an expantion or two. Oblivion seemed to me to be the best RPG ever made sense and after. I hope the can pull of abother good title with Elder Scrolls 5.
