DoctorKaizeld
so i was just thinkin about mods and i thought about the books in Skyrim. is it possible to create an item like a 'pen' and ink and some paper to make copies of books? it sounds possible... i can't think of why it wouldn't, but i could just be over lookin something. lofgren
Maybe I don't understand the idea, but couldn't you just spawn a new copy of the book?

lofgren
This mod adds a writing desk. You could just add books to its crafting menu. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26007
GguyWesker101
If you want to write a book, the closest thing would be the journual of the dragonborn...tha allows you to write your own journal /diary..but i dont use it as i dont use skse
DoctorKaizeld
nah i know about console commands and of mods that add writable books. what i mean is to take an in game book and write a duplicate of it that can be edited by you.
DrNewcenstein
I'm still not getting the logic. I can only think of two books in the game that would work for this - King Olaf's verse for the Bard's College and Kodlak's Journal. In the case of King Olaf's verse, that would require a complete dialog overhaul (replace existing dialog with a complete re-recording and expansion to include your edits, which means you need a limited selection of edits to choose from). For Kodlak's Journal, you would use Journal of the DB, creating a Harbinger's Journal from that. Other than that, and MAYBE Katria's journal, there are no in-game books that lend themselves to player expansion.

lofgren
Well apparently it is hard to understand because it seems that none of us are getting it. Of course it is possible to spawn duplicates of any book, either through a script or crafting menu, just like any other item in the game. Making that book editable is significantly more complicated but I think it could be possible. Maybe.
