Join Empire or Stormcloaks? My Thoughts

Lady, it's more about the beginning of Skyrim (obvious) but I don't think that the Stormcloak alongside with Hammerfell (+ the remain of a divided empire) can stand against the Domain, it's too much unstability.

What's the class of this NPC ? Rogue ?

I don't think she is a rogue. During the quest, she once spoke of other people as "mortals" so my guess is that she could be a "higher being" disguised as a Dunmer.

As for your argument about too much instability, Skyrim does not offer too much lore about the internal conditions of other provinces. As the saying goes, "history repeats itself". It is entirely possible that the post-Skyrim situation will develop into a stand-off between the Aldmeri Dominion and an alliance of anti-Aldmeri ex-Imperial provinces, with both parties attempting to gain/retain control over the Imperial heartland (the real strength of the Aldmeri Dominion is difficult to estimate, after all the Redguards reclaimed the southern part of Hammerfell on their own against the Aldmeri forces).

Of course, we will only learn about the canon resolution of this crisis when ES VI is finally released (once they finish porting Skyrim to all possible computer systems, including Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum and Abacus  ).

Eh, if I remember correctly, that's an incarnation of Boethia, been a while since I played that quest (a couple of years?). Writing wasn't ESO's strong point if it had one. Though, I did like that everything was voiced.

Honestly though, not to disagree, but if they can make a better game by taking a break from TES, I'm all for it. Same goes for Fallout. I think those two Flagships need a refit.

Yeah taking a loooooong break ! The quality is going down since Oblivion (and I don't say this about some anger or nostalgia), they need to be passionate again with what they do by taking the quality before the money (CD Projekt is a perfect example of good quality)

To going back to the subject : Yeah, if she speaks like an immortal, she is logically an "higher being" (or a vampire), more particularly, it can be Boethia ('cause a lot of Dunmer are behind her) just to almost comfirm the Rethrain's post.

Yeah it can be a coalition against the Thalmor : Hammerfell, Highrock, Skyrim, Cyrodiil, Morrowind (if it remain as a province of the Empire by paper), the resistance in Elsweyr and Valenwood...

Erf.. We will know what's next in TES VI.. I juste don't want the Landfall.. f*** that.

It's ironic that, despite people comparing Stormcloaks to Nazis and Confederates, it's often other races that have those features.

Argonians have death squads (legalized assassins used frequently are de facto squads).

Dunmer have both death squads and slaves (before you mention that Argonian dock workers in Windhelm, know that paid employment conditions, no matter how bad, do not compare to actual slavery).

Altmer believe in racial purity to the point of having blood purges (even if imperial propaganda is to be believed, the Markarth Incident was not driven by blood).

You are undoubtedly right, but who else besides the Nords would dare utter the slogan, "Make Skyrim Great Again?"

Been a bit since I was last here. Jeez, so there have been people who claimed that the Stormcloaks were f***in' Nazies eh? I will say that the Stormcloaks are more like the confederates, than Nazies. The Thalmor are more Nazies, and the Imperials I'd probably have to say are democrats.
