antonkr
Imagine, living the life of a Imperial City guard, or perhaps open your own restaurant, at the edge of space. If you were to live in a world that you made up or was used in a video game, which would you live in? and who would you want to be?

Maharg67
If I was a little insane and wanted a risky but adventurous life, the DC Wastelands of Fallout 3. Oblivion would be dangerous but has safer places to go. If I wanted dull but more boring, Sims 2.
Marcus Wolfe
Y'know, I'm going to think about this one for a bit. On the other hand, I can easily list a pair of videogame worlds I would not want to live in: A) Mortal Kombat Universe. B) God of War Universe And now that I think about it, I wouldn't want to live in any RTS universe. They have very high mortality rates in those. Vagrant0
If I wanted dull but more boring, Sims 2.You mean Hell right? Pure, unapologetic Hell. It's downright disturbing what some people do with their Sims. I wouldn't wish that sort of existence on Hitler. If the mechanics of the world assume a mostly reality base, I'd be tempted to say that I'd like to live in the world of Anarchy Online (provided that expansions are free too). It's got spacey stuff, a large world to explore, but more importantly, near immortality, easy money, and the ability to become incredibly strong with enough effort. DagonTheranis
If I wanted fun, either of the Just Cause universes. Otherwise, it has to be either Ratchet and Clank or the Jak and Daxter games' universe.
Retribution
Oblivion or Mass Effect.
antonkr
For me, it is defiantly Mass Effect. And I would have course want to be the first human specter. Or just a specter.
DeathWarrior
There's no single answer for this in my case, I like many different universes, so I'll choose 4 of my favorites: 1. Oblivion - I'd be a Nord Barbarian/Adventurer living in the mountains2. Fallout 3 - Just an average wastelander with a Pip-boy3. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl - Obviously I'd be a stalker, most likely for either the Loners or Freedom4. System Shock 2 - Either a UNN soldier or Tri-Optimum crewmember
Deleted54170User
EDIT: June 1, 2010I am actually finding myself steering away from realizing any game I would like to live in that fashion. I found out I could afford a yacht, which to my thinking is an offshore apartment. That fun idea, from a game apartment, seems to have curved my thinking toward getting a real yacht in the future. I might even get tweaked up enough about the idea to actually buy a real one, "dreaming, a little". Hey! Who knows, I might actually get after the idea in a way so I can afford a yacht, just like it, or better!
