tassadarfanboy Posted April 17, 2010 Posted April 17, 2010 Hello there Borderlands players, I've been playing Fallout 3 recently and I'm thinking about making another purchase. Borderlands sounds promising, and I'd like to hear from people who've played it their first-hand experiences with the game, some pros and cons and how it measures up to Fallout 3. Now, I realize this has probably been asked a lot already, but I'm looking for spoiler-free information, so I'm not using a forum search.
ub3rman123 Posted April 18, 2010 Posted April 18, 2010 It's an awesome game, but it's best enjoyed if you have someone to play co-op with it. It is still fun for going solo, though. Just a terrible plotline for the game, which doesn't matter as much as shooting bandits in the face.
xaechireon Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 I wouldn't recommend getting it. The enemies all look the same, the NPCs have no personality or purpose other than to give you quests, and the bazillion guns generally work the same way.
ikillforfree Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 One of the best games of last years id buy it again if i lost it loved the DLCs i played with other players over game-spy for free Loot Loot Loot weapons are boasted about if u think like a defeatist but if u like a fun rpg styled fps this is the way to go
Strongsocks Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 I absolutely love it and I strongly recommend buying it. There are lots of fun side quests, main quests are fun yet challenging. The Bosses and Enemies all have different tactics, most have unique weapons and the lootable containers are great.
Maharg67 Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 Not great with out the DLCs but a fairly good game with them. I am now playing through the game with all current DLCs included so I have yet to fully make up my mind.
