Ghosting @ 30fps, 60hz

NB! Not holy war, just asking...

So, some people say that it is absolutely fine to have 30 fps in games and in Skyrim particularly.

But all LCD monitors (except maybe most expensive ones, I don't know) have ghosting effect.

Question number 1:

How do you people stand it in Skyrim?

It would be ok if it had motion blur. But without motion blur when you look around everything just shakes horribly because of double image effect @30 fps.

Tried to run it @30 fps today. That is just painful to watch. I mean my eyes started to tear because I couldn't focus on image which "splits" and you can't see anything when moving camera.

Question number 2:

Is there any single monitor out there now which doesn't have ghosting?

I tried to google for one today, but I found only old topics (from 2011-2013). What about now?

Question number 3:

Is there any mods for Skyrim which add motion blur?

It seems like Boris was working on it but it was long time ago, and as far as I know he couldn't complete it.

The motion look you are talking about was the sole reason i got rid of the 32 inch monitor i was using...nothing would get rid of it completly, things you can check to see if it helps you,.....check it the monitor (TV?) has a game mode, chech and turn off all extra features , its the MS (responce time) that causes the blurry,,,and yes MY eyes would water also...

But for $300 i bought a 1MS bad as gaming monitor. Will never regret that purchase. ASUS FTW!!

It is cheaper now...>>>Bad ass Gaming Monitor 144 HZ <<that is the one i bought only 24 inch.

This is the 27 inch version is now cheaper then what i paid for the 24 inch...sigh...

Don't settle, get a 1 MS and you will never cry again.

Thanks for the reply!

That Asus looks sweet. But I am still waiting for Gsync monitors though. Looking forward to get one. They are pretty expensive right now... And I believe there are too many problems with them at the moment.

Lucky me I don't have to play at 30 fps.

How does your monitor act at lower frame rates?

I would wait and see what version wins gysnc or displayport.

Some have already declared displayport the winner but I would prefer to wait and see.

For a few pages.

First ..its an 144 Hz monitor. For every other game i play the blazing speed is Amazing!!!

Ok now Skyrim...First I have to lower the Hz to 100....then in Nvidia i have it set to "Adaptive Vsync, 1/3 refresh rate" This nets me 33 FPS...and is perfect~!!! Liquid smooth. Sucks to have to gimp the monitor but it looks and feels so smooth i don't mind anymore.

If you have the hardware to push it, set your refresh rate to 120, and your adaptive v-sync to 50% refresh rate. :) THAT would be nice.

Lol...kind a, but that would put me back to the 64 Hz stutter bug....been their done that....:) its how i settled on 100 divider by 3...33 fps FTW. Running with 257 mod a full enb , on SLI 580s and I am really pushing it. 2.8 GB vram constantly, no real crashing. 3 so far and am level 20 .

When ever i run with 60 FPS i get the micro stutters, know of a way to have 60 and not have that??
