Your best/most beloved character, and why

I had an Imperial Warrior on the PC version of Oblivion that I had named Action Jaxon. I logged like 250 hours of gameplay with him and every second of it was a blast.

I really like how they did the Space Marines in Dawn Of War II.

 

They may be humanity's last best hope, but they dont have to like it. They are portrayed as grumpy, irritable, short tempered, and argue constantly. I really love it when a writer doesnt feel compelled to make the heroes saccarin sweet like in starwars. Here, they'l save you, but they'll have a screaming argument about how to do it first. I write novels, and good writing in games is make or break, and for me, though they were nearly 3 metres tall, half machine and entirely covered in armor, the Space Marines were some of the most "human" humans Ive seen in gaming for a very long time.

 

They also reminded me a bit of myself in that they are all always so grumpy, gruff and completely lacking in "people skills".

My favorite character is Khelgar Ironfist. He's the Dwarf companion from Neverwinter Nights 2. He's simply awesome I love his personality. He also reminds me Gimli. ;D

Most of my writing is very character based, and I get really attached to the characters I create-its hard not to want to mention them all here lol.

I love to play custom figures instead of off the rack stuff, and this one was probably the most important of

all. Its a random shot made in 2002 in my siegelet to Dungeon Siege called Steelsworld, and I still remember

Viet Minh and the two guys from France and Germany next to her as if it happened yesterday.

Khelgar and Neeshka were my favorite companions because of how they argue all of the time. I wish it could have been me and the two of them going on the journey the whole time, they were all the team I needed. :]

 

Though I'd have to say my favorite was Dante from DMC and how his personality changes either a bit or a lot between them. (DMC3 he's all party and DMC2 he's SRS BSNS)
