FerdinandNL
Hello, So I've just recently started using mods for my Skyrim, mods such as HD 2K Textures I wanted to use but it seems that those don't work and many others, I'm using Nexus mod manager. The " data files" do appear when I start my game and it shows a small amount of what I've got installed such as unlimetedsprint, skyrim high definition lods, also the mods I download via steam workshop do seem to work as well. Can anyone please help me with this strange issue I've got been looking on the internet quite a while for this, saw people suggesting the skyrim.ini files I did that as well but nothing changed. Also got skse installed. Thanks a lot.
Hyacathusarullistad
Define "don't seem to work". The HD2K texture packs have worked just fine for over 5 million people over the last three-ish years. If you mean the mods don't show up in your plugins list, then for many texture mods that's perfectly normal. Straight re-texture mods simply sort the texture files into the proper folder structure and are ready to go, as the game will use the loose files instead of those found in the game's .bsa archives. They don't require a plugin for the new textures to appear in-game. Edited October 17, 2014 by Hyacathusarullistad

As, both of those mods are "texture only" mods , correct, neither one will show up in the Data files selection. They don't have an "ESP" to select. Use a MOD manager, also pick a place, either use "Steam mods" or use Nexus.....dont MIX.
FerdinandNL
Even if I don't mid the mods they won't work, been told few times about the data files but decided to post a pic, the mod(s) simply doesn't work for me, no difference at all in skyrim. bben46
Based on that pic - most of your mods are not activated (red x) Only the ones with the green check will show in the game. Here is a link to the NMM tutorials. http://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/NMM_Video_Tutorials Read this it may help when you post asking for help - and may even fix some stuff before you ask. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1592053-how-to-ask-for-help/
FerdinandNL
I know that most my mods ain't activated as 50% of them don't work and those that do work I turned it off to try and fix my 2K mod.Which doesn't work at all. http://i.imgur.com/0ZOiSy7.pngMe ingame with 2k mod on you see nothing different, also everytime I turn on and off a mod skyrim tells me about things added or missing, with 2k it never does.
