Switch
http://mwsource.com/forum/index.php?showto...2084&hl=vampirecheck there for info on what its like to be a vampire, and just search for vampire and u shud find out how 2 become one too. as for getting the boots of blinding speed, head out of caldera (west exit) and walk down the path til u come to a signpost. there'll be a naked nord there (unless u've done that quest already). im a bit rusty on the directions... but i'll try. from the naked nord take the road east, then west at the next signpost. u shud see some glowing in the distance, in the shape of enchanted boots (theyre easiest to see if its foggy) there u'll find a woman. she'll ask to be escorted to Gnaar Mok, u can either do that, or kill her (i suggest kill her gnaar mok is a LONG way away) ok, if those directions dont work, try going north from the naked nord, then east at the next signpost, then west at the next signpost. if that doesnt work then ive obviously forgotten, sorry! Stalin Jr.
no you cant vure them, but i had a glitch in my game so i could see shadows and outlines with them on, cool but the boots have no practical use, too many trees to hit, dont waunt to become Sunny Bono. Peregrine
is it posible 2 cure the bliding speed bootwith a constant enchanted ring of cure blinding dieseased i guees not cuz the boot got not dieased it just a enchant Yes, constant effect resist magic will give you at least partial vision. Or apparenlty, if you have the resist effect on when you equip the boots, the blindness doesn't come back when the resist time runs out, or you take off the item. So make a 50% resist magic for 5 seconds spell, cast and put on the boots before the timer runs out. Repeat every time you switch boots.
DragoonFurey
100% for 2 seconds resist magicka works nicley on those boots, it also has a interesting effect with "Fury" that funny sword you find at somepoint during the main quest. Ashjam
Or make a permanent Night-vision ring, about 50 percent or something. IIRC this also works. You could do 100, but that's overkill, everything is way to bright then... just save before enchanting and see what it does. You'll feel like roadrunner with those boots on, and a decent character-speed...
Dark0ne
My "Boots of Blinding Speed" are now just "Boots of Speed" - just removed the blind (oh, and I tripled the speed effect)
thanateros
just choose breton as your race. 50% magic resist means the ill effect of the boots only slightly works. Blind isn't that potent of a spell unless of course it is for anything above 90%. being a breton cuts the blind in half, making it nonexistent. eldritch
Wasn't this just discussed in the thread "Boots of Blinding Speed" on this very same forum about a week ago. I'm experiencing a powerful deja vu here.
