Jofe
I'm gonna kinda bump in here, as I'm having similar problems. I made a post some time ago but sadly there wasn't an answer to what may be causing it. So gonna take the chance here since there's some other people to similar problems (the main difference being that from the looks of it for some its working now or its either manual downloads or with the manager, in my case is both and I think its been going on for around 3 months) The Nexus mod manager drops me an error when downloading, tried with Mod Organizer and get download error 99 and trying to download with any of these: IE, Firefox, Opera, Chrome I get a variation of this message depending on the browser http://imgur.com/XGne0Rg. This happens with any file from filedelivery.nexusmods.com if the file is on, erm, regular nexus (like the Nexus Mod Manager and the Download Diagnoser) it woks fine. Today I tried to download something with an anonymous proxy, just to see if it worked, and I managed to start a download but it cuts around 60%+ never was able to finish. Dark0ne
Jofe, that sounds like your DNS isn't set properly, either on your own system, your router or with your ISP, as the webpage is simply not loading for you. When you go to http://filedelivery.nexusmods.com/ you should see a blank white page and get no error. If you do not see that then something is wrong your your connection that is preventing the site from loading. That's why you can't download from the site, because the actual file URL isn't working for you.
Jofe
Any tips how can I set the DNS on my end? Both on my pc and my modem/router. And yes, going to http://filedelivery.nexusmods.com ends with me getting the same error posted before. Edited December 23, 2014 by Jofe

Jofe
Well came back to mention that I still have the problem, I talked to my isp and they said they were going to look into it but I somehow doubt it. Unless I understood wrong I should have gotten an answer by now. Also I added a couple of sites I also get the timeout error besides the file server here and another couple that simply load wrong unless I use a proxy. This is getting weirder. Jofe
And came back to mention that it's mysteriously fixed now. Don't know if my ISP did something but I can download stuff now.
