McMutton
I'm tired of the lack of neato-cool clothing for men. The clothing that's been made is usually really bulky, and not very stylish. In order to remedy this, I've decided to make this.(Don't mind the faceted-ness) http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l43/Marshal_banana/Posh_suit2.pnghttp://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l43/Marshal_banana/Posh_suit.pngOpinions? Keep in mind that there aren't any textures yet. Also, I need the Oblivion skeleton in order to rig this, right? And are there any Oblivion-specific rigging tutorials around? steelstiletto
While I can't assist you (never modded for Oblivion), I support you in this endeavor 100%.
theRoadstroker
It looks really nice ... well done ... looks like alot like Castlevania to me. And it doesn't look stupid over-poly'ed either Well it kinda depends what program you use for rigging/ modelling , I can point to some nice tuts for rigging but those are for 3ds max. The Oblivion skeleton is really easy to find, if you use OBMM just open up Oblivion - Meshes.bsa and look for Meshes\characters\_male\skeleton.nif Good Luck with this .. it looks great. I love the folds near the feet on the trousers. (Send me a Pm if you re using 3ds max and you want to tutorials.)
AlienSlof
My boys are looking forward to this. Nice to see someone else making male clothing. :)
mcole254
Looks nice, slap a smooth function/phong (not sure what its called in Blender), also I hope you have been working with the UV map as you model. I'm looking forward to seeing this finished. Matt
McMutton
Thanks for the kind words, guys. Finished the UV map and applied base textures:http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l43/Marshal_banana/Posh_suit3.pngAnd then... Tragedy struck! I was going to move on to the fine details, only to discover that my tablet's stylus finally succumbed to that instant ramen I spilt on it... <_<I've ordered a new one, which will take about a week to get here. Concerning the rigging, my choices are between a 3DS Max, which is incredibly expensive, or Blender, which is incredibly user-unfriendly? That's disheartening, to say the least. mcole254
What program did you make this in? That suck about your tablet by the way
McMutton
My program's called TrueSpace. It's able to do all of the stuff that the high-end 3D apps can do, though its import/export options are rather limited.
Megatarius
I only play females (mostly), but I know good modeling when I see it.
