Multiple item stacking problem

Been searching for a mod to fix this pain in the behind problem but I can't find a thing about it..

As you can see, the items are fully repaired and I have many more than you see on the screenshot but they are ALL stacked in 1s ans 2s. So it makes it a very hard job to sell them all. I have been saving them to sell for ages..

Please tell me theres a way to fix this..

Cheers

I have never really had that problem, nor have I ever had that many haha. But I suppose the BEST thing to do is to just sell them lol. I do not see why you would not, I mean that will rack in a hell of a lot of gold my friend. Is there any other reason that you would hang on to them?

Ordinarily you can only sell them one at a time anyway due to the merchant's available money limitations. But then how do you carry all of that weight around with you?

Wow! You have a weird problem. I have seen cases where stolen items don't stack with purchased items, which don't seem to stack with legally looted items. (And the scripting has trouble grabbing them all when told to.) But I have never seen your problem before. I don't think it is all that common of a problem, so I doubt anyone has made a fix. Most worthwhile merchants only have 1000 or 1200 gold for a single transaction, so I doubt you would want to sell more than one daedric cuirass at a time anyway.

Well the fence in the pirate cave DLC seems to have unlimited cash.. maybe its part of a mod i have long forgotten about but basically instead of going to the merchant all the time, I save my loot up and then use the mark/recall mod to teleport to the fences location after loading up on loot. Ive had this problem since I started playing in 06/07.. even when my game was unmodded. That was with retail, and now im playing steam.. so not sure whats wrong either :(

I have read a couple of posts around the net with others having the same issue, but no word of any fix.

Well if anyone else has this problem and knows of a solution, please let me know!!

I also posted this in the mod requests section where a member said he used to get this problem too..

Oh and the reason I don't just want to sell one by one is it takes forever lol, I would really like to be able to just sell stacks of 10+..

Cheers!

You level your merchantile up faster by selling one by one (at least with the vanilla game). Just something to consider.

What you are experiencing is the common result of repairing armor/weapons. When you do, they stack in ones and twos - it's just the way the game works. Once you drop them or put them in a container and then pick them up again, THEN they stack better.

One way that you can work around the problem without too much pain is to get the mod "Speedy Depositing". This will give you a spell to quickly and easily transfer items from your inventory into a container. Use it to get the ones and twos to stack in another container, then open the container and "Take All".

He's using godmode. You can carry as much weight as you want with it on.. I've actually looted all the weapons and armor in the game all at the same time. only fallback is if your on a low end pc..(like me) then it will lag the hell out of your inventory with all those items in it. usually if i have to many items like this guy i either put everything in a storage (storage is also unlimited with godmode on) or use a combination of the "Active inventory" mod(access any npcs inventory with one spell) and "summon doppleganger" (Summon an exact clone of yourself) then i place all my extra trash on him and send him away. problem solved.

I wouldn't think so, because most modders prefer not to cheat.

Besides, why would you even carry that many if you can just cheat yourself more gold?

No no no... I am not using god mode and I can't carry that much... I have just removed it from the box to take a screenshot. But it does this 1-2 stacking thing even with just a few of the same items.. not just when I have hundreds of them. Also my PC is pretty high end so its not that either.. I think shadowfen might have the right idea.. I will see if it changes when I put the items back in a chest or something.

As I said, instead of going to vendor after every dungeon or w/e I just throw the loot in my house and then use Mark/Recall mod to teleport to the vendors position then sell it all. It saves a lot of messing around for me.. maybe its cheating a bit but I would rather that then have to take a trip to a vendor every 10 mins hehe.

I would rather the items stacked in 10s+ tho cos tbh after 65+ mercantile it takes like 300 sales to get a skill point anyway :/

try the doppleganger/active inventory thing i said. It's really only useful for things you wish to trash though..

@naikado

It's a rough estimate.. very rough.. but i'd say about 40% mods created? (Maybe) are created to cheat. Armory mods that include more weapons than you could donate to a small army,God weapons, god armor, flying mounts, infinite spell time, increased summon count, auto vampire, essential companions that wear god items.. so on and so on.. made by modders. so you can cheat your way through the game and enjoy it. There is no unfortunate "Code of the modders" that says do not use godmode.. if anything they promote cheating.
