Beginners guide to modding

I`ve been at this for 3-4 hrs and I think I have it figured out. Nexus modder is trying to mod a game that has not been fully entered into the registry on my PC. I have tried the TES5Edit and the following error shows "Failed: could not open registry key: \software\bethesdasoftworks\skyrim" . I know the order Loot - Wrye Bash - TES5Edit. I have a green order from skyrim.esm - Bashed Patch.0.esp on NMM and Wrye Bash. What can I do to fix this?

1) this is not a beginners issue

2) I've never seen that before so you got me

3) The only thing I can suggest is to delete the entire game and the folder in your documents also and reinstall through steam

just in case somebody finds this through a web search later, the fix is to run the skyrim launcher.

Hi, I've a question.

Some plugins need master in one order, while others need them in another order. In other words I can't satisfy all mods' master load order, if I put one master above another, it turns other plugins green on Wrye Bash, but turns others orange.

Any help on this? I've only been modding for a couple months.

I apologize I don't mean to in pose a large task on some one but I need help, I've never dealt with my load order before and I've been experiencing some glitches, as in Elongated toes, missing clothing on NPCs, and My head Disappears when I equip enclosed helmets ( please don't recommend the ICH mod it is retarded looking in my opinion), So can some one send me back my list in the proper order (if needed) and some advice on any tweaks to the mesh folder, Thanks.
