laffett
aye now I have seen dozens of great mods, Inigo, Falskaar just to name a minuscule fraction of them. I and I am sure dozens more want to have their name on something so grand. now I have NO talent with making computer programming or even modding or scripting ANYTHING, no graphical design ....meh but I am not completely talentless. what I do have is plenty of free time and a lot of great ideas. I have written a few great stories, short and long. still working on getting some things published but basically I would like to work on a script with one or two other people in making a quest mod that will get a lot of great attention and be lots of fun. and I dont want to throw him out there so quickly but I do have a friend who has a staggeringly good voice for a Khajiit and I am sure we could poke around to find a few great voices here and there. the only things I want out of this is a new mod to play with, my name in with the credits, and to see my ideas come to life.I can make dozens of stories to choose from and even multiple setups someone can work with according to the dovakiin's race and even the guilds they are in if anyone is willing to get that in depth. and yeah I dont expect everyone to just line up. Im sure there are plenty of busy people here with things that could be better to do. but I am willing to work hard if you are and give skyrim its next great mod ^_^ I have dozens of communication methods as well if needed to work out the details I have skype, steam, facebook, raidcall, teamspeak, cellular phone, hell there are hundreds of ways we could talk and figure out a great idea for a ground breaking mod
albe0345
There is already a lot of great projects looking for able contributors, ex: Beyond Skyrim. But they need modders with either experience or modders who are willing to learn the creation kit. Scripters are always in great demand. You can find a lot of project at www.darkcreations.com It would also help if you were more specific as to what it is you can contribute with.If you apply for membership of the projects hosted at darkcreations, you should show some of your previous work, that includes if you are a voice actor or a writer, which is what I understand you are from your post. Good luck :)
laffett
lol I have no confidence in my voice acting though I know a guy who would be amazing for it. I am just an excellent writer. and I offer a demonstration to anyone who has the ability to make such a mod. sorry if it was confusing. but yes this offer stands and I will be happy to help someone with a mod they need only to contact me and we can begin
Boombro
My advice? Try making some small mods, get used to the ck, small quest, tiny houses, new enchantments you name it. Bird by bird dude. Many people requesting lore playing quest mods, like guard lore playing quests, a student for a blacksmith etc. Why not try your had on something simple like? Some fetching quests maybe. Boombro
hrmm...I guess but to be honest...I dont even know where to start. my ONLY expertise is lore and story writing. It not that hard, fulling long stories with good quality writing is harder then looking for an npc lines and setting conditions. Quests are not that hard at all. In a way, making a pretty house is harder. Skyrim ck is more about crashes if your pc is weak, sometimes scripts not working (rare.) time eating more than hardships most of time. Making a fetch quest is easier than a short story with less than 300 words. The both of us are writers, trust me when I say making small quests are easier than a short story. Of course, if you are making something like hunterborn, frostfall or some game changing mods it will be hard. But quests? Not much if you take notice of the game quests, and being able to see how they work. No offense. but writing is not much of a needed skill when modding Skyrim. A good quest with an amazing story is great of course but being able to write your quest and making it is more useful and time saving for you and your team. With the ability to access all the time and having full control. Like being your own novel editor, it saves time, money and you are more sure of your work. Here http://www.creationkit.com/Category:Tutorials this website has the basics. Know them and you will be able to do anything.
