Are there plans to update GetValue or include a new function that allows for "potion" items such as Stimpacks or Doctor Bags to have their values obtained, as well as a SetValue version?

 

Looking at the source code and comparing to OBSE's it looks as though you guys have only included the default item type (using TESValueForm) whereas the OBSE version of both has a switch that checks the passed form's type ID and modifies alchemical and ingredient forms differently.

 

If you guys won't get to it in a while, is there a good NVSE/FOSE plug-in creation tutorial that could let me do this for FNV on my own until you guys decide to tackle this particular problem?

I am just wondering if there is or if there are plans to be a script function that allows us to access a Casino payout data (through scripts). Such as Max Winnings and Blackjack Payout Ratio.

I added beta 7 to my Fallout NV directory, all of it, not just the dll and exe ( just in case) but when i hit new game i get a error message saying Project Nevada has an error with NVSE not being installed, and then i proceed to get more mods telling me that NVSE isnt installed correctly. Ive tried this several times, uninstalled Fallout: New Vegas, reinstalled, reinstalled FOMM and resinstalled NVSE beta 7 (nvse ive reinstalled at least 5 or 6 times) but i just cant get it to work. I feel like im missing something, being a 13 y/o kid im guessing im just stupidly missing a step to the installment. Thanks in advance! :thumbsup: Oh and by the way, UAC is off and i have full permissions and no security on my steam folder what-so-ever.

 

Edit: It works. All of a sudden. For no reason. Confused face activate

After NVSE have been extracted to my FNV folder, the game launcher crash and I can't launch my game.

 

Need help, please.

i dont have any problems with it, but i have the ddl version, nvse has always worked, but last install, it kept crashing, no matter what i did

so i uninstalled fallout new vegas, resinstalled, did the patch for dead money, installed dead money, them fomm, then nvse, then BoE, Dimonized Type 3, etc, eventually i got my build back...

i wont give it here, cuz this aint a epeen contest, but after i resintalled, i just payed very close attention to what i installed, because certain things actually crash NVSE. so i just didnt' install

certain mods, and it works just fine.

bear in mind i have the DDL version of fallout new vegas.

 

someone told me build order isn't acting douchbaggery, so here's my build

If you're going to bluff your way into getting help on a forum where piracy is absolutely not tolerated, don't list a load order with a combination of plugins that cannot be legally obtained.

Isn´t FalloutNV.esm supposed to be on ther very top as it masters every other file?

Even though GetNVSEVersion returns Version 1 and everything is dandy, but then it crashes anyways on loading a save or entering a new area. What's up with that?

How to make NVSE not crash?

 

I figure that my load order screws it up... for some reason my NVSE never did update. Same with FOMM, when I press Update from Help, it crashdumps a txt file below:
