The Mercy mod sounds intriguing. A step beyond that would be a mod that made the bad guy NPCs flee for their lives or try to hide when confronted by your chacacter (and followers) when they are much more powerful than the baddies. I am not sure, in game terms, how the NPCs would "know" the relative capabilties or the player character and followers, though. It is sheer suicide when a lone low-level thief or assassin tries to attack my well-armed and armored character, especially when 2 or more comparably powerful followers are also present.
